I had such a wonderful time at La Hacienda Buenaventura. The building, pool, restaurant, and landscape are all absolutely stunning. The beach was breathtaking, and not rocky at all. The beach area is also well equipped with comfortable chairs and umbrellas right next to a bar run by the staff. There is a shuttle to and from the hotel to the beach which is really nice and convenient. The staff honestly made our stay exceptional. From Roberto the quick and kind waiter, Luis the witty driver, Carlos who made the most refreshing drinks, to Neemias who was so attentive, knowledgeable and entertaining at the beach bar. All of the staff I encountered were so fun, kind, and professional and they made this place feel like home away from home. 10/10 would recommend and definitely plan on coming back.

Great location, 10m walk to a Walmart & big shopping mall next to it. 100 pesos to the start of the Malicon. Site at a bar or restaurant to see amazing sunset. The hotel is small, more of a boutique hotel. Quiet and relaxing, 2 nights they had a show with it being done by 10pm. Perfect for us, no night owls. Pool was nice, beach was ok just no washrooms. Rooms were ok, mattress was very comfortable and never ran out of hot water any time of the day. Food at the buffet was good but the Sambroe restaurant was impressed me. Food was outstanding and the waiter knows the menu, the wines. Exceptional. Wife had 2 massages at the Spa that she enjoyed very much. I would recommend this hotel for people who are looking for a relaxing, quiet vacation with lots to explore close by.

Hello, I can’t say enough about Hacienda Buenaventura. It’s a beautiful Hacienda, the landscaping is phenomenal, greenery everywhere, ferns, flowering plants, palm trees, not one corner is unattended. I love the rustic charm, the high ceilings with wooden beams, their open air patio, the stucco, chairs wrapped in cowhide in the dining hall, the woodwork on doors, and window frames, the brick arcs, cobble stone passages all come together to create a perfect authentic Mexican atmosphere. The food is very good and you can up-grade at a reasonable price. The rooms are nice, the beds are comfortable, I wished they had smart tvs in the rooms. The pool is large and lively with a bar and wait staff servicing drinks close the lunch station and restaurant. The best part is the price. The beach is around the corner, they have lawn chairs, umbrellas, and a bartender serving drinks at the kiosk.
