We had a great time at the Westin despite all the construction. The highlight of the trip as far as the resort goes was Angel our server at the pool. He was very attentive and kept our drinks and our plates full.

The location is very close to the airport which is great. The atmosphere is Amazing and definitely has that authentic Mexican boutique hotel feel to it. The rooms are great. We had a superior room bottom floor. Could Go out the deck to the pool Bar for food and drinks. The Mexican restaurant is a must but you have to reserve. The Hostess: Monserrat’s Rongel And Mesero; Alfredo Bobodilla were amazing the service was exceptional!! A must here. Food was good. Plated meals and tasted great. A +++

Outstanding Mexican charm experience...all the staff 11/10...couldn't be better...bartenders at pool and beach excellent as were all the wait staff, front desk, room cleaners...all 11/10...rooms comfortable, clean and quiet...great location...Thanksgiving Dinner the best and the Sabores de Mexico with Alfredo Bobadilla and Captain Jesus outstanding..

The food was delicious, we had the pleasure of trying to new menu. Loved the Hacienda Salad and the Mahi mahi. Our server, Alfredo, was very attentive and thoughtful about our food allergies. The hostess, Monserrath, was timely and organized.

Unfortunately, this hotel did not live up to the photos. The room I was initially given had lights that didn't work and they weren't able to move us until the next day. So we were expected to sit in the dark for a day. The bathroom was really bad - the toilet handle was like a public restroom. The bathroom itself was just really unsightly. The location is close to the beach and marina, so that was nice. The staff was pretty friendly and professional. The bartenders in particular were all really nice and accommodating (they make a great paloma too!). They didn't seem to have staff dedicated to keeping the pool area clean. So there were often empty cups left all over and food trays with food just randomly around the pool. The food at the buffet was decent, it did the trick.
