We had a great stay!! The people made the difference. Both the staff and the families we met while there. Black Panter, Domingo, Alexis, Jordan, Peeta and Tairon made it everything I could have hoped for. Muchos Gracias!

Dreams Cap Cana was everything we had hoped it would be. We knew going into this resort that the beach was not the highlight; however, the pool and Sea Legs pool bar more than make up for this. Every single bartender at the Sea Legs pool bar is wonderful. Their attention to quality and attentiveness was great! The atmosphere around the pool was top notch daily, many thanks to the Entertainment Team, especially Black Panther (THE VERY BEST!!!!!!), Barbie, and John Michael. This trio kept us laughing and having fun all day long. You will not meet a better team! John Micael made karaoke night a blast as well and even sang a song in Spanish with my daughter. The food is good, some spots are better than others. It is resort food, and they do provide a variety of options. As a precaution, not all restaurants are open nightly for dinner, so you will need to check daily. Our favorite dinner spots were the Italian and Steak House. Our older teenage kids really enjoyed Oke (Pan-Asian). The made to order omlettes were great for breakfast. If you tire of eating the beachside grill for lunch (limited menu), the Coco Cafe offers great variety sandwiches that were excellent for lunch. We arrived earlier than expected and our rooms were not ready yet. That was not a big deal, as we were able to enjoy lunch and the pool. As an upgrade for our wait, we were moved to deluxe ocen view rooms, which was great to sit on the blacony each morning and night. The rooms were clean and restocked daily. Anything we needed, extra towels, room service, etc was met with promptness. The resort property is clean and very well maintained. Everyone on this property seems to truly enjoy their jobs. You will not meet an unhappy person. The list could go on and on, but these people truly made our stay enjoyable and unforgettable : Black Panther, Barbie, John Michael, the entire crew at the Sea Legs Pool Bar, specifically Domingo, Alexus, and Jordan. Tairon at the Palm Bar was great as well. Thank you for an unforgettable vaction!

I was at this place last year when it transferred over to a dreams from margaritaville. We had a swim up room that connected to the main pool which was lovely. We literally would get in and only had to leave pool to use restroom. There was a bar in pool. The food was good, typical resort food. Nothing to write home about but good no complaints. There was not many people at the time we went but we did meet a few couples they had dinner one night out on the beach was nice. The beach area is so far away from resort it seemed to me, and was not the greatest lots of rocks. The rooms were nice and cold and beaurif no complaints on room, or service. Everyone was pleasant.

This was a very relaxing vacation. It was a 50th birthday gift for my wife and when we originally booked we were in a garden king room. The front desk staffed upgraded us to a villa and that was the best decision. The room was amazing and huge. The swim out patio was a day all by its self. We enjoyed the private pool bar with Manny as our bartender. We had breakfast at the Mesa Buffett and our sever Anna was so great, she checked on us the whole time we were there and every time we ate she remember what we liked and made sure it was available for us. But what made this weekend the best was our butler G. G helped me plan and he created the most beautiful display. From the room decor in her favorite color to the amazing cake. Then to top it off he arranged dinner and that was decorated and the staff at the steak house top it all off. Our server Eddy made sure her glass was never empty. Our last night we saw Blue at preferred lounge and he was our highlight. The two female bartenders made the best chocolate martini. Was it perfect no, some of the restaurant options and food were hit and miss. If you are a beach person this time of the year is not a good time for that in the DR. The beach was full of seaweed but it was that way most of the way down the beach. They were always working to clear but that is nature you can’t control. The burgers at the Sea Side grill were never quite right. If you are not a fan of Latin music that may be a problem because that was what you heard most of the time. We were there to relax and due to it being the slow season we were able to do just that. My wife and I enjoyed our time there and were more than pleased.
