World class employees!

The employees are the greatest. The activities are amazing and the explorer club kept our kids busy and happy! We had an amazing trip and felt like family the whole time

Lots to do but not lots to eat

The resort had a lot of activities happening which was great for the kids, but the food left much to be desired. We often waited a long time for food to arrive, and we’d always have our fingers crossed that it was the right food, quantity, and that the meat would be cooked. The staff made up for many of the food inconsistencies, and although there was a language barrier they always tried to make sure we were happy and having a great experience. The tennis and pickleball teacher (Miguel) was a gem at this resort. He had the dads in the group laughing while playing and was so great with the kids in the games room. Very patient with them and made sure they were okay. He worked very hard to make sure we were enjoying our time. The fire and acrobatics show, the magic show, and the circus show were the best shows of the week, and some of the best shows we have seen at a resort. Although we booked during “low” sargassum season the beach was covered with it, and we actually had to walk to the neighbouring resort to use their beach space because they cleared theirs - their security kept a tight eye on us but let us use their beachfront.

The brand name Dreams is definitely not what you getting .Very disappointing. And the management is in denial run .

I just stayed at Dreams Cap Cana, and unfortunately, the resort fell far below expectations. The biggest issue was the food and drinks. The meals were consistently bland, lukewarm, and poorly prepared. Even the restaurants that were supposed to be “higher-end” felt like cafeteria quality. Drinks were watered down, lacked flavor, and often tasted like they were made with cheap mixers. Definitely not what you expect from a resort at this price point. The pool area was another major letdown. Many of the chairs were worn out, damaged, or sagging, making them uncomfortable to use. Several umbrellas were broken or wouldn’t stay upright, which meant you were often stuck in the sun with no shade. The overall condition of the pool surroundings just looked neglected—chipped tiles, peeling paint, and general lack of upkeep. For a resort that markets itself as luxury, Dreams Cap Cana missed the mark completely. The property has potential, but until they seriously improve the food, drink quality, and maintain the pool amenities, I wouldn’t recommend staying here.

first night, luggage took over a hour to get to the room, no hot water, bed was like sleeping on a rock pile I rolled up my sweatshirt so i could have a good pillow, second day drinks were good, beach covered with seaweed, back to the room the front desk told us the water problem was fixed no water at all yep it was fixed sun tan oil does not come off well with cold water and the stay did not get better
