Just returned and disappointed . Surprised when you read the reviews pre visit . Found a lot of holidaymakers complaining when chatting . Positives ; Friendly staff , WIFI , Steak restaurant, Italian restaurant, Coco Cafe ( Outstanding ) , Room , Facilities , Shop , Branded drinks etc Negatives : Remainder of restaurants , No booking service ( its first come first served ) so expect to turn up at 7pm and eat minimum one hour later . Portions can be embarrassing with some holidaymakers telling you to order plenty due to this . Can also wait 30 mins between courses . You will need to get up around 6:30AM if you want a sunbed as they are secured by rocks , shoes , towels , tumblers , toys , clothing , inflatables ( just about everything ) . Never seen this before . Sun Umbrellas are in short supply ( this can be an issue when 26 degrees ) Some areas are well staffed others seem very short ( staff having to work hard ) Usual tipping seems necessary and is expected with holidaymakers tipping at every point ( no issue but be prepared ) Food is quite poor ! Buffet poor ! As previously stated Coco Cafe is a 10/10 ( & 24 hours ) Superb Beach seems in need of daily sand run , clean More negatives than positives with a lot saying they wouldn’t return . As always it’s only an opinion but seems it used to be Margaritivile and they haven’t yet got to high standard . It’s 3 star at best ! As frequent holidaymaker I would suggest others in Punta Cana Final point and real concern ( this is a nightly ritual ) . The Senior Manager arrives every night around 7:30 / 8pm ( 2 seats are tipped against bar / reserved ) even though you require a seat and he smokes the biggest cigar I have ever seen . Sits totally aloof like the king and trust me it’s not a good look . He is totally unaware that Next to him are holidaymakers sitting complaining about the hotel , they are at the bar because they are waiting an hour for a table at his restaurants , can’t get a seat , all looking at him . One of the most aloof things I’ve witnessed . If he is reading this as it looks like he just sits with headphones in . Sort your hotel out and don’t sit like The King . There are issues . I amongst others will not return Shame as it has potential with maybe even a booking system and a management team walking the hotel and getting to grips with what is wrong Finally we were not asked for feedback when checking out ?

My experience was amazing the people where awesome a person who stood out was an entertainment worker named Elian. He made sure the trip was entertaining at all times and had a great attitude.

Came for the views, stayed for the people!

We’re wrapping up our stay at Dreams Cap Cana tomorrow morning and honestly, what a beautiful experience from start to finish. The resort is stunning, the drinks are incredible, and the food has been consistently really good. Yes, service can be a bit slower than what we’re used to back home, but that’s part of the magic here. Slow down, relax, and enjoy where you are. What truly made this trip unforgettable though was the people. The staff here work so hard, and there are a few who genuinely made our stay 10x better: Yogency at The Palm, an absolute showstopper bartender. His flair work with shots is next level and such a fun experience. Ramon at the Beach Grill, he makes your afternoons effortless. If you ask nicely, he will even bring your lunch right to you poolside. Ismael and Joel at the Kaiman pool bar, these two are dangerous in the best way. They have single handedly made me question how I have not drained the resort of Aperol yet. Alberto at Coral Keg, an incredible bartender. Catch him late night, you will not regret it. Ramona at Coral Keg, a wonderful supervisor and server. We had our final dinner with her and it could not have been a more perfect way to end our trip. The Coco Cafe girls, the perfect start and end to your day. They make the best iced coffee. Joel and Gabrielle at the spa, amazing to work with. The hydrotherapy experience is something you really need to slow down and soak in. One important note, tip. These people deserve it. They work so hard and truly elevate your entire experience. We are leaving relaxed, happy, and already talking about coming back

Relaxing Vacation

One of the best dream hotel had been. Clara, Alma and Alvery and Eiromy(front desk) very professional and friendly . Most of the bellman and housekeepers are very nice people

We booked the preferred club. Room was very nice and clean. Swim out pool was nice but very cold till later in afternoon. preferred pool had no swim up bar and service was very slow. Mostly used regular two pools with swim up bar. Beach was awful with hard sand and rocks. Not much shade. Couldn’t walk very far on beach due to rocky area. Staff was very friendly. Pool entertainment staff was awful. There was an older crowd in the pool and they were playing rap music,really! Speciality restaurants were good especially steak house. Buffet left a lot to be desired especially with nightly food selection. Nightly entertainment was good. This by far was the worst dreams I have stayed at for the price I paid.
