JOIA is great place to go for vacation I recommend it, Ronny my concierge then best guy a great attention with the service.

My best friend and I (and our spouses) just returned from JOIA Bávaro (late May/early June), and it was pure magic. Stunning beach, gorgeous pools and grounds, incredible food; but the people made this trip unforgettable. Tomas and Jacinto at the bar went above and beyond for my friend’s birthday. They arrange a cake (s) and got the DJ to make the whole night about her (actually 2 nights in a row :). Their care and warmth (plus seriously great cocktails) made the celebration one we’ll never forget. Rafael at the front desk was attentive from day one, and the concierge team outdid themselves. The room was beautifully decorated for her birthday and we never ran out of cold champagne to toast with. Thank you all for making this trip so special. We’ll absolutely be back!

Yahaira service was excellent. She knew what we needed before we asked. And our Butler Ray made sure all of our experiences were planned to a tee. All we had to do was show up.

The hotel and service were excellent. The atmosphere and welcoming experience was amazing and I highly recommend this resort. My family and friends will be coming back soon. I can not say enough about the two butlers Jose and Houston they were the best and I will request for them on my next stay.

My husband and I recently stayed at this resort in an ocean-view room with butler service, and we had a wonderful experience overall. Our butler, Danilo, was absolutely incredible. We were celebrating both my birthday and our anniversary, and he went above and beyond to make each occasion special. He decorated our room beautifully, prepared romantic bed and bath decorations, arranged bouquets of roses, champagne, and cakes, and was always available to help with anything we needed. His attention to detail truly made our stay memorable. The entertainment staff was great! Yojanny, Snoop Dogg, and Marcos were all friendly, energetic, and fun. The resort offered plenty of activities including bingo, archery, cornhole, and an amazing foam party on July 4th that was one of the highlights of our trip. While the pool atmosphere was enjoyable, I think it could have been a little livelier at times. I understand it’s an adults-only resort, but a bit more entertainment around the pool would have been nice. The pool bartenders, Jacinto and Ery, were fantastic and always provided excellent service with a smile. A special shoutout goes to Ruby, who led the ceviche-making experience by the pool. She was amazing, especially with guests who had food allergies, and was incredibly knowledgeable and attentive. At the end of our trip, I wasn’t able to take my beautiful anniversary bouquet home, so I gave it to Ruby. She was so appreciative, and it felt wonderful to pass it along to someone who had helped make our stay so special. As for the restaurants, we loved the Japanese restaurant. We chose to dine outside instead of the hibachi experience and ordered the Honey Sriracha chicken wings, which my husband and I are still talking about! They were delicious. The Italian restaurant exceeded our expectations. Being from New York, we tend to have high standards for Italian food, but we were pleasantly surprised by how good it was. The French restaurant was the only disappointment for us, though we certainly didn’t leave hungry. We also enjoyed the Dominican restaurant, which was full of flavor and authentic dishes. The buffet was simple but offered enough variety for everyone to find something they liked. Dominican Night was one of the most special evenings of our stay. The event was held outside and featured an impressive variety of food, music, and entertainment. It was such a fun atmosphere, with lots of opportunities to meet people, take pictures, enjoy great conversations, and sample delicious Dominican dishes. It truly felt like a celebration and was one of our favorite experiences at the resort. The evening shows were entertaining, with beautiful costumes, talented singers, and energetic dancers. We also spent a lot of time at the lobby bar, where Tobias and Brandon were always welcoming and did their best to make guests happy and comfortable. Housekeeping was excellent, keeping our room spotless and well-stocked with twice-daily service. Check-in and check-out were seamless and stress-free. On our last day, Yarista at the lobby bar made our final hours extra special. She crafted amazing lychee martinis and went out of her way to make our departure memorable. One thing I really enjoyed was meeting so many wonderful people during our stay. Being open to conversations and connecting with other guests added so much to the overall experience. The pool cabanas were excellent, and while I did wake up early to secure my preferred location, I genuinely enjoy early mornings with a coffee, a good book, and some sunshine. Overall, we had a fantastic vacation filled with great service, wonderful staff, delicious food, and memorable experiences. We would happily return.
