The Grand Bavaro Princess All Suites resort has announced, due to required general maintenance and repairs, the temporary closure of the Main Pool beginning September 15, 2025, through to September 25, 2025., approximately for a period of 10 days.
During this maintenance period, the Platinum pool, the pools located in the Family Club, the Relax Pool (in front of the Spa), and the MiniClub children’s pool (located nearest to the beach) all remain fully operational and accessible for guest’s enjoyment. The hotel will also provide inflatable water games and activities in the area surrounding the Main Pool, including increased activities programing at the beach, Relax pool, MiniClub and all other available recreational areas.
Maintenance noise and work will be sectioned off and confined to daytime hours to minimize any disruption. All efforts will be made to minimize impact to guests during this time.

Very very nice resort. There were some pros and cons. The staff were extremely helpful and I would like to personally give a shout out to Harlem in guest services. He was excellent and very helpful. The rooms are very nice. My patio door wouldn’t lock, but someone came to fix it right away. The Wi-Fi signal is not very strong so make sure your cellular data is reliable. It is a huge resort so at night it is easy to get lost. There are path lights, but sometimes I felt as though I was walking through a corn maze. It all depends on your travel needs. Plenty of options for different people. The employees are extremely helpful.
Buffet serving team made it that bit extra special

We just got back from a lovely stay! Grounds are amazing and well kept, reception staff not overly friendly but all other staff helpful, gardeners would offer coconuts as we walked through the eco area, my children loved seeing all the wildlife everyday, beach was amazing, pool nice and not too busy but need to get there early for a lounger. We never struggled to get loungers at the beach. Our stay was made by the buffet team who looked after us every morning. A special mention to Adaigisa, Joseph and Willy who greeted us each morning, always happy and great with my children, always made sure we had a table. Also to Leonardo and Marcela In the buffet restaurant. Nothing was ever too much trouble. Thank you and please tip them as they work so hard.
