Beautiful resort with an easy access to snorkeling, very clean, safe, wide variety of delicious food, accessible, high-quality entertainment. Excellent place for families. I had wonderful time there with my adult children and grandchildren, and everybody was relaxed, and happy . Grazyna

This vacation for me was all about relaxation. It's not enough just to pour me a drink, but to make me feel welcome and at home has been key to this being a perfect vacation for me. The one stand out I can say is Pedro Chuc at the old man's bar or the lobby bar. While everybody here is delivering good service, I can say that Pedro makes me feel welcome and it just makes me happy to come up here. See him get my drink and relax.

We were at this resort 3 times pre COVID and in 2025 and returned again this year. The rooms are clean and the grounds very well kept. The staff is polite, hard working and cordial, a special shot out to Angelina in the Brisas buffet. I gave it a 4 because although there is plenty of choices of food at all the restaurants and it would be/could be tasty if the food was hot, in some cases it isn’t even lukewarm, it’s ice cold. We arrived at the resort on Feb 14th at 11 pm, so our pick up time to the airport was 6pm on the 21st. we paid for privilege (every time we went) and there was no late check out nor a courtesy room available for us. We had to be out of our room at noon. It was a very long, hot afternoon. The resorts is not responsible for the sargassum, nor the construction next door. Although I really like and enjoy the Catalonia Riviera Maya, not sure if I would return primarily because the food is cold.

An all round great resort ,staff ,restaurants, entertainment all great,The Beloved restaurant was our favourite and our host ESTELA she was great,polite,helpful 5stars to her. Great place to go with a great location ?? ??

Paid for premium room and was given one with a view over the service rd and building site. Took hotel 2 days to move me, said my fault i did not bring my case to bell boy station in time! Recept staff rude and unhelpful till i insisted. Noise levels are unbearable, constant from whining toilet plumbing, loud banging of a pile driver on the b/site, staff screaming into microphone all day by pool, banal drivel treated us like kids. Beach is poor with mountains of seaweed rendering it unusable for sea swimming. The sea access is poor, rocky and shallow with dead coral. Poor snorkelling. There is nowhere to sit comfortably and have quiet drink and/or look at the sea. As a solo traveller i was constantly ignored and felt invisible. I waited 20 mins in the steak restaurant to be even asked if id like a drink! However, the food was excellent (cruise ship quality) gardens lovely and wildlife charming.
