The shower was great, always hot water. Beds comfortable. Was sick most of the time I was there. Buffets adequate for a resort. Restaurant were good. Don't participate in the Exclusive tour. They promise us a $75 credit for an adventure, and a couples massage and that never happened. Said they will credit me the $75, but still hasn't happened.

The trip overall was not great at all. The only positive was poolside and drinks. The food was bad, there were employees constantly coming up to you trying to sell you something wherever we went to the pool, there was heavy construction going on, the main lobby ramp was closed so we had to go around and there was pretty much no entertainment team. The only entertainment was this one lady shouting instructions water aerobic in the pool for a long time and bingo. In our room, half of the outlets were not working. Also, it seemed like this is a spot for locals so everything was in Spanish and very little English. They taxed me when we checked in and they didn’t stop calling our room saying that they have our tickets to head back to the airport but it was just a trick to try and sell us an excursion. We also had our money transferred to pesos since we found out upon arrival that they don’t accept US dollars. Overall the trip was very frustrating and it was very difficult to relax and to simply get away. I would highly recommend you find something else!!

My husband and I stayed here for our 10th anniversary. It was a truly wonderful stay, and we did not want to leave. The staff was kind and attentive, the food was delicious, and the resort was beautiful. We went in off-season (Early September), and while there was a bit of rain, the weather was amazing for the most part. We had a privileged status room, and really enjoyed the privileged pool and beach. The Spa was AMAZING. Don't miss the hydro therapy circuit. It was one of our favorite parts of the trip. It was easy to book day trips through the Amstar desk at guest services, and they provided easy transportation to the airport as well. One suggestion would be to keep the pools open longer (they closed at 7pm). We would have loved to use them after dinner.

We just had dinner at the grill restaurant which I believe is one of the 5 restaurants accessible to us during our stay and the food was delicious, our server was so polite, friendly and helpful. We had all 3 courses and the food was good quality and cooked to perfection.

Overall: I loved every minute of my 10 day holiday! A lovely location once you are there but it is an 80 minute transfer from the airport. The white sandy beach is stunning! Food was fabulous in all the restaurants. Only downside for the la carte restaurant bookings was that you had to be ready to book via the app at 8am each morning and there was a 5 minute window before every where was fully booked! That said, I managed to book for 7 of the 10 nights! ?? Room was very comfortable and the cleaning service was excellent! The decor is a bit dark and dated but this didn’t really impact on my stay. Reception staff were helpful but service was slow. The bell boys were very helpful and do an amazing job. Entertainment team: A big shout out to Monserrat and Kevin - I joined their pilates, yoga and aqua gym sessions daily! They were very engaging and spent time chatting outside of the ‘classes’ too. Very friendly! ??
