Nelson was an awesome help and found my lost purse that contained cash and passport..I can not praise his honesty and helpfulness...I loved this resort and I will definitely be back to stay... especially because of Nelson... everything was excellent and this is one of the cleanest resorts I have ever stayed...thank you thank you...from 9 Canadian girls..loved everything...xox

First impressions were not great. Check in is dim and uninviting. Our first room. was very smelly we had to get moved the next morning it was very unpleasant order. By next day with a fresh room some sleep and good things started to look better. Beach is not good at all and I love the beach but after a day it grew in me and I was happy to relax and gaze at the ocean. Many pools and Lounge chairs never an issue getting a chair. Activity during the day is great and upbeat. The lounge area could use more chairs in my opinion in the lobby. And the check in check out area cloud use a facelift and more chairs. We upgraded to have room service and well that left a lot to be desired. Only 4 items on the menu not good at all. Not worth even having just as well be no room service imo. Restaurants and food was great. Lots of options from early morning till 10 pm. After that hope you brought your own snacks because food is not an option then. Unless you want the plain yogurt option from room service lol. This resort did suite me fine I did have a lovely week. But with some improvements it could of been a fantastic week. Travelling from Canada and to add the sports bar left a lot to be desired I wouldn’t call it a bar let alone a sports bar.

Wonderful resort! The beach access is terrible but the rest of the resort and people make up for it. Pools are great with lots of sitting space. Food was great, especially the restaurants. The entertainment staff are amazing They are 100% committed to guests enjoying their vacation. Oscar the bartender deserves a kudos and Omar in the spa was very helpful. The community around the resort is fun with lots to see and definitely a safe environment.. Fantastic trip!

Stayed from March 19 - 26. Had THE best trip. This is our second time to Catalonia chain and they don’t disappoint. We paid for privilege. Highly recommend. We also paid for adults only. It’s a floor of a building, not an entire building. Families can be exclusive and utilize the privileged amenities. We’re picky with food and the resort wasn’t short of good food at all restaurants and buffets. We did mani and pedi’s at the spa and really enjoyed it. We loved being able to go off resort to the shops and restaurants. We also played a round of golf and had the best time. Alfonso at the Margarita pool bar did not disappoint! He made our trip. Giovanni took over for Alfonso and Alan and Sabino don’t disappoint. Try the pineapple, Malibu rum and champagne! Kaile at the snack bar/steakhouse is an awesome server! Great family resort or to travel as a couple!
