PERFECTION!!! 5 DAMOND all the way!!! we travel a lot. it is hard to impress us sometimes, but food, to tge facility to our Amazing staff was 5 star, 5 Diamond all the way!!! our personal concierges, Miguel Coyole and Sofia Cruz were exceptional!!!! If we needed anything, they were right there to assist. They packed a basket of snacks and waters when we had an off sight excursion with out us even mentioning it because they knew it was a long drive and didn’t want us wanting for anything. On their day off checked on us and even helped me to obtain a mortar and pestle off site because the price was more affordable in a local village. This is service! Thank you for making this such a well needful vacation!!!! I foresee us coming here many times in the near future!!!! Did I mention how good the service of rest of the property is? I worked in the hotel industry and it’s hard to impress me! I was blown away at the service, food quality, amenities, maintenance of the property, staff friendliness and the overall drive to make sure our stay was incredible!!! Every single employee spoke to us and went out of their way to make sure we were treated like royalty!!! Thank you!!!!!! You all are the best! Can’t wait to make this a yearly trip!!!!!!! Just back from a very relaxing vacation at Grand Velas. We stayed in the Grand Class section on the 4th floor. This section of the resort fit exactly what we needed for our vacation - comfortable room, great food, quiet pool and fantastic drinks. Besides the beautiful resort, the room and the great food, the service is what sets this resort apart from others. There are many people we want to recognize for their exceptional service during our stay. Thank you to our personal concierges, Carolina Collado and Daniel Nava, who were always available and helped with all of our questions especially getting us into some of the adult activities. Also, a special Thank you for the fresh aloe vera in our room after too much sun. Thank you to Alex, head bartender at the Grand Class pool bar for the Tequila and Mezcal tasting, the Liquid Passport activity and for creating original drinks for us. Thank you to Issac, Noe, Ignacio (Chef) and Jasmin at the Bistro for their service and hospitality. Thank you to Eduardo and Daniel at the Grand Class pool for keeping us in the shade and finding my hat that I lost. Thank you to Jonathan and Orlando at the Sky Bar for the Tequila and Chocolate Tasting and the Whiskey Experience. Thank you to our waiter, Abraham at Cocina de Autor for providing a tequila pairing with our excellent dinner. And finally, a special Thank you to Mario Soto (Head Chef), Aaron Gabriel (Guest Services) and Cesar Camacho (Food and Beverage). Grand Velas is a great place to vacation but what really makes it special are the people that work there.

If you’re fortunate enough to have Sofia Cruz and Miguel Coyole as your concierge team at Grand Velas Riviera Maya, you’re in for an unforgettable experience. From the moment we arrived, they made our family feel genuinely welcomed and cared for. Their attention to detail is exceptional, they anticipate needs before you even ask, and every interaction feels sincere and personal. They created a beautiful surprise for my son’s birthday that made his day incredibly special. They also went above and beyond for my wife and me on our anniversary, arranging a romantic bubble bath, chocolate-covered strawberries, and rose petals in our room. It was such a thoughtful gesture that we’ll never forget. One moment truly captured the kind of people they are. While stopping by the pool to check on us, they overheard one of my adult children mention they were craving chocolate. Without us asking, they went to the boutique, sent videos of different chocolates so they could choose, and then personally brought the selection to us. It was such a small act, but it perfectly reflected how much they genuinely care about making every guest’s stay extraordinary. The most amazing part is that we still have several days left in our vacation, and they’ve already exceeded every expectation. Sofia and Miguel don’t just provide great service, they create memories that our family will cherish for years to come. Thank you both for your kindness, thoughtfulness, and dedication. You are a huge part of what makes Grand Velas such an exceptional resort, and we hope to see you again on our next visit.

We just returned from an incredible stay at Grand Velas, and it exceeded our expectations in every way. The resort is stunning, the food is exceptional, and the service is truly second to none. One of the biggest surprises was the Teen Club. My son is 9 years old, and there were so many fun, engaging activities that he couldn’t wait to go back each day. We especially loved that they embraced the excitement of the World Cup with themed games and competitions. It created such a festive atmosphere for guests of all ages. A special thank you to Susana and Allen, who were absolutely amazing (along with the entire Teens club team, too many to name!). They made sure my son felt included, encouraged him to participate, and treated him with such kindness and enthusiasm. They are wonderful ambassadors for the resort. We were also fortunate to have Jeronimo and Nicolas as our concierges, and they were nothing short of exceptional. We were celebrating my son’s birthday during our stay, and they went above and beyond to make it unforgettable. From thoughtful surprises to making sure every detail was taken care of, they made him feel incredibly special. Throughout our vacation, they were always just a message away and handled every request quickly, professionally, and with genuine warmth. Their positive attitudes and dedication to guest service made a tremendous difference in our experience. The dining was another standout. Every meal was excellent, but our favorite dinners were at Lucca and Sen Lin. Both delivered outstanding cuisine, beautiful presentation, and impeccable service that rivaled some of the best restaurants we’ve visited anywhere. It’s easy to find a beautiful resort, but it’s much harder to find one where the people consistently make you feel so well cared for. The staff at Grand Velas delivered that experience every single day. We left with wonderful memories and are already planning our next visit. Thank you to everyone who made our family vacation, and especially our son’s birthday, so memorable!

Incredible experience. All of the staff were amazing and so kind in every way imaginable. Would come back in a heartbeat. Waiter Raymundo and Enrique at Bistro Restaurant were incredible, Jorge was amazing at the pool. Nicolas and Jeronimo were amazing. Everyone was incredible and the staff made this experience one I’ll never forget!
