We ate dinner at Chaka and had the most amazing server. His name was Abraham and he was the best of the best for customer service. So personalable and friendly. We loved his go getter attitude and the way that he described drinks and food. Would absolutely recommend asking for Abraham.

The Grand Vilas in Playa del Carmen a first class resort even as an all-inclusive resort! My family had the best time ever and can’t wait to go back next Christmas. I’ve already put my deposit down and looking forward to another terrific experience. The service was exceptional, and I would recommend this to anybody looking for a great vacation spot, especially if you’re bringing your family!

We arrived for our 4th visit to Grand Velas, Riviera Maya on December 24, 2024. For the next 8 days, we enjoyed the beautiful beach, the exceptional service at the beach provided by Marco and his team, especially Donato, the delicious meals (especially our breakfasts at the Bistro where Francesco and his team made us feel special everyday, and even went to the store to make sure I had the coconut water I love every morning), and appreciated the support of Guillermo, our concierge, who made sure everything was running smoothly. It was the Grand Velas we have come to enjoy so much. However, when we had a family emergency on New Year’s Eve. Grand Velas was truly at its finest. They coordinated our hospital visit, helped extend our stay, provided staff to help us navigate the hospital system and stayed in touch even when we made it back home. You couldn’t ask for more! Thank you to the entire team for an incredible experience.

Grand Velas Riviera Maya was truly a magical place . We went for 10 nights and loved every minute . We were on a large family vacation with different age groups . There was something for everyone to do at all times . We felt safe and even the kids could run around themselves and enjoy . The staff were all wonderful starting with our concierge to the beach staff , dining , housekeeping etc . Nothing was too much to ask . We had the best time , food and drinks were great and we got to relax . The resort fueled our mind , body and soul and we were so sad to leave . The spa was amazing too !! We can’t wait to return soon . One of our best vacations so far …..

My family and I went over the December break. Overall it was a fantastic experience. The resort is beautiful. It's very large. We stayed is Zen and really liked the experience. The beach is very nice and the pools are huge. The food is very good. My wife and I were really pleasantly surprised and plan to return next year. My only complaint is that I wish the pools at the beach and Zen had a hot tub.
