This was my 4th time staying at the Barcelo Properties in the Mayan Riviera, my first at the Tropical resort complex. If you are looking for a good time, look no further than this resort or it's sister resorts. This complex is a bit more outdated than the Maya Grand for example, but it still is a great complex for families and couples. It has so many activities for everyone. I highly recommend upgrading to the "Premium Level" as it gets you reservations pre-selected for every night of your stay, top shelf liquor if that is up your alley, but best of all??? The HYDROTHERAPY circuit. One per day for each day of your stay. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

Bartenders and servers are rude, took forever to get waited on or even ecolodge we were waiting to be served

We travelled here with 7 adults and 3 children, aged 1, 4 & 5. Great family resort with lots to do for the kids. Also area for adults to relax . Staff was accompdating and friendly, and the food was great with lots of options

Very nice and clean hotels. They really keep it together for you to enjoy yourself on vacation. Amazing walks on the beach and thorough out all of the hotels. You stay at one and play in rest of of the hotels.

We had good times except few little things like room fridge wasn't fill up daily , and room wasn't cleaned up daily the floors and poor service at the pool to bring drinks , and we got booked in advance us a group and we were all over the place separately which I didn't like it but other than that is a good place .
