The hotel is massive due to there are other hotels barcelo and you can use the facilites of most of the hotels. Service excellent, always clean, facilities with good quality.

Stayed at the Barceló Maya Tropical hotel. I lost my phone in the theater, then went to look for it at the lobby, and they returned it to me. Everything was great! Really good people, well done. I recommend it!

Great place to spend a vacation! Very clean and safe resort that is absolutely beautiful. We spent 10 days here with our group of around 100 family and friends traveling from Michigan for our daughter’s high school senior trip. Highly recommend

Black mold in rooms, tiny uncomfortable beds, unable to secure chairs by pool unless you set your alarm to 5:30 am on vacation, poorly staffed bars, birds eating from buffet food line (like literally flying up and eating from food everyone eats), rude staff, cards for beach towels, unorganized check in and out, four meal tickets for 7 night stay but can only use 3 bc it’s “booked” only to find buffet appetizers at your “restaurants,” pool bathrooms were filthy, beach is gorgeous so are grounds but for the price other resorts do so much better!

We just got back from a 7 day stay at Barcelo Maya Tropical. 2 adults and two kids 13 and 10. We don’t have one bad thing to say. Everything was wonderful from the food, to the beach, to the pool, the service, the staff, the drinks and the activities on and off site. This was our first stay and I will not hesitate to go back. Mexico is a beautiful country! No regrets!
