Very nice hotel in a great location

We visited the hotel Zoe on our honeymoon for 4 nights. Location of the hotel is excellent, just a 5 minute walk from Fisherman’s Wharf and a couple of minutes from the tram stop (F line) which runs into central San Francisco. The area is quiet with a few local shops. The hotel room was nicely decorated, very comfortable bed and well serviced by the housekeeping staff. No tea and coffee in the room which was a bit unusual for a hotel of this quality, but they did offer complimentary tea and coffee in the lounge area downstairs each morning. Not our preference to have to get out of bed, change and go downstairs to get one. The hotel restaurant was very nice - small menu but we’ll prepared and staff very friendly/helpful. We ate in there for breakfast and dinner a couple of times and really enjoyed it. Overall a very nice hotel in a great location.

Safety

Hotel must take immediate safety steps to ensure the safety of their guests. The bathtub/shower in the room must have nonslip mat installed. I stayed in room 146 from the 27th-30th of June. I slipped into the bathtub during the shower and landed on my head with a serious concussion and a gash on my head. I reported my injuries to the front desk immediately and took pictures. Now I have got a serious whiplash in my neck last 3 days. I hope hotel will make every effort to remedy the issue.

Staff for keeps!

We were there in June and though our room has no view, I’m complimenting the staff of this hotel. I left my wallet and we were already an hour away. One call and Rowena answered and said she would communicate with loss and found. Then she called me right away and said that she will have it at the front desk ready to be picked up. And guess what? I arrived and picked it up. The Manager, Eric was there to make sure I got it.

Great location

Great Staff, clean, great location. The TV/remote needs an update, the food menu didn't display well on TV (i couldn't make a selection to see the menu), and no room service for food. but there is a charge $10 /day whether you have water/snacks or not - I hope they give that to room cleaners. The TV/remote connection has a delay, I thought the TV didn't have more channels than the HOME, I kept on clicking up and down and nothing came on. I figured it out after hearing colleagues who stayed at the same hotel discuss the issue.

Excellent all the way around

I booked a group of 14 rooms for my students and chaperons as we were on a singing tour in San Francisco. From the planning months in advance and all the way through out stay, I was thoroughly impressed with every aspect of this hotel. The location was perfect for us being so close to the wharf, the rooms were beautiful, and the staff was absolutely amazing. Every single person we encountered was friendly and eager to help. We felt like rock stars when we checked in as they welcomed our group. I would highly recommend Hotel Zoe for any individuals or groups coming to San Francisco!
