Had a stay here for 3 nights in 3 rooms. Our room was large & clean & modern. Had a bit of noise from a fan which we couldn’t locate an off button for but slept through that. The other 2 rooms were considerably smaller & had large air con units but all rooms were clean & sufficient. The cleaning staff deserve a mention as they were all very pleasant & didn’t complain about the bottles - even joked about the champagne!
The location is excellent for the Wharf area and the hop on / off bus just across the road. Staff were really helpful especially Jose who helped with our questions & organised taxis as required. Breakfast was a bonus - large bowl of fruit & croissant or toast. Staff in the restaurant went out of their way to help when an early take out breakfast was required for half of our group.
Nicer places to stay…

Firstly before I dive in to the reasons I wouldn’t stay here again, what I will say is the staff are super friendly. So this has no reflection on them. Also Fisherman’s Wharf is the best area to stay in SF. I just think there’s better places than this hotel. Firstly, the hotel doesn’t have a gym, it’s in another hotel a few blocks away, like a good 15 min walk. The tea and coffee served from 6am-10am is just filter coffee and tea. Like there’s nothing great about it. We used the restaurant and the food was bland and nothing to talk about positively.
The room itself was fine and clean. There was also free bottled water available at reception. Don’t pay for valet parking, the car park is literally across the road at leas than half the crazy price the hotel is charging for valet parking. Also, remove absolutely everything from your car. We saw 2 cars had been broken in to. Keep your stuff with you or ask the hotel to keep it if you have to check out and want to still be out and about in SF.
