This “hotel” sucks… When I submitted this response I was shocked told that I had not used enough characters in my comment… This hotel sucks, This hotel sucks, This hotel sucks, This hotel sucks. How’s that?

Excellent restaurants. Amazing pool and beach views. My wife has Celiac's and while the gluten-free options weren't always listed at all restaurants, they were accommodating and always had some gluten-free options that my wife enjoyed.
Disappointing Hideaway

We upgraded to Hideaway. In my opinion certainly not a five star hotel, adult only accommodation immediately next door to noisy family friendly accommodation. Only one adult only restaurant all others adjacent to noisy entertainment area. Food was average on a good day, around three star. We tried all restaurants, service was terrible. Beach was never cleaned during our stay. Certainly wouldn’t return or recommend.

Positives: Concierge staff (especially Paige & Tashael) & one staff member @ the Hideway Guest Services (CathyAnn). Food at Score Sports Bar & Dorado. Negatives: Requested a minimum of 6 times for facial/bath cloths from staff & guest services and did not received them on the last 2 day of stay. It took 45 minutes for us to check out because of poor communication (paid for a couple’s massage using a Marriott gift card & I provided proof of purchase yet Hideaway guest service staff member [Shiem] appeared not to comprehend. Cleanliness (average); Location (good);Atmosphere (good); Bedding (poor - mattress wasn't high quality; bedding was low that caused back pain; also toilet); Value (average). Would I stay there again knowing what I know now: undecided.
Disappointing resort experience designed for nothing more than vacation club sales.

The resort was acceptable but dated. The communication was confusing among Marriott, Royalton and Nexus. I only booked because I am a Bonvoy member but then realized Marriott is nothing more than a booking platform. I felt duped by Marriott. The food was average at best. The need to make reservations at least a day in advance was disappointing. There was no real resort entertainment. The lack of sufficient lounge chairs around the pools was unacceptable. The worst thing was the aggressive push to sell a Diamond Club membership. Overall this is not what I expected from an all inclusive resort. Bright spot - Teddy was great. I understand his real job is to get you to the Diamond Club sales pitch but he was also helpful and attentive. I will not return to a Royalton resort.
