Amazing Destination Wedding Week

V2870IOkristenp on May 15, 2026

We recently stayed at Royalton Hideaway for the week of our destination wedding, and the entire experience exceeded our expectations. Upon arrival, we were upgraded to have access to all Diamond Club amenities while staying in the Hideaway rooms. Our butlers Kaysha and Kayson were amazing and made our stay as stress free as possible. They really went above and beyond. Our guests who arrived after 4pm were told they had to check in at the main lobby, even though they booked Hideaway, which created a lot of confusion and put a lot more work on my already full plate as the bride. They also told them they'd have to walk their own luggage across the resort, but I did complain and they then said they would shuttle them back with their luggage to the Hideaway lobby after they checked in at the main lobby. Planning a wedding away from home can be stressful, but the team at the resort, especially Kerrsandra (wedding coordinator), the waitstaff, and the MC/DJ, helped make everything feel seamless and special. The property was beautiful, clean, and well-maintained, and the atmosphere was exactly what we hoped for — relaxing, elegant, and memorable. I mainly brought decorations from home and I was blown away by the amazing job they did setting up for the ceremony site/cocktail hour/reception. Everything exceeded my expectations. Melissa from the Salon/Spa did an amazing job with my hair and makeup! I probably would do my own makeup if I had to do it all over again, only because I went so natural/neutral, but I would definitely splurge and pay to have my hair done! If you are going to pay for them to do your makeup, I recommend bringing your own foundation so it's a perfect match. Thanks Melissa! Charlene from the Royalton Excursions helped me tremendously by setting up the sunset catamaran cruise for us and all of our guests. She took all of the booking off my plate and ensured everyone signed up and paid for themselves so I wasn't having to deal with it. Thanks Charlene! Our guests continuously commented on how friendly and accommodating everyone was throughout the week. The food, service (please keep in mind this is an island and they run on island time - don't expect the same fast service as Mexico! It's still great service, they just move a little slower), and amenities were all fantastic, and every detail helped make our wedding celebration unforgettable. We would absolutely recommend this resort to anyone planning a vacation or special event. Also, huge shout out to TripGuy (travel agent) for helping us find this resort, for handling the room bookings for us and all of our guests, and for handling the transportation to and from the resort. You made everything so much easier and took so much off my plate!

3/10

Candace W on May 15, 2026

The room we had 3108 smelled like mold, my husband got sick. Every restaurant we went to on the resort didn’t have items that were on the menu even items that you had to pay for. A lot none friendly staff that acted concerned but when you start addressing issues with the visit it was nothing but excuses. The wanted us to become diamond members and there is no way in **** that I personally would be a member.. Experience was a 3/10

A Mediocre Experience for a Premium Price

Lakeysha K on May 14, 2026

I recently stayed at this all-inclusive resort and unfortunately the experience did not live up to the price or expectations. One of the biggest disappointments was that we were promised an ocean view room, but that was not what we received up arrival. For the amount paid for two people, this was extremely frustrating and felt misleading. The overall atmosphere of the resort felt very dated and lacked the luxury feel that is usually associated with An Autograph Collection. Our room was not the cleanest, and several furnishings appeared worn out, damaged or dirty, which made the stay feel neglected rather than luxurious or relaxing. While the service was acceptable and staff were generally polite, nothing about the experience stood out as exceptional. The amenities were decent enough, but again, nothing that justified the very high cost. It became clear throughout the stay that the resort focuses more on accommodating large volumes of guest rather than providing a quality experience. Overall, the trip was overpriced for what was delivered, and I would not consider it a good value compared to other all inclusive resorts.

The Diamond (Club) of the Caribbean!

Sarah J (Edmonton, Canada) on May 13, 2026

If you’re visiting Royalton Hideaway Saint Lucia, the Diamond Club is absolutely worth it! You get some of the best rooms and views on the property, access to exclusive private areas, and best of all — butler service. We were lucky enough to have Nikita as our butler, and she truly went above and beyond to make our stay extra special. She anticipated our every need and always made sure we were well taken care of. We booked a beachfront junior swim-out suite, and it was incredible. The view was breathtaking, and falling asleep to the sound of the ocean every night was so relaxing. We especially loved the in-suite soaker tub and oversized shower. Of all the restaurants, Dorado and Calypso were our favourites. The Diamond Club beach area was peaceful and never overcrowded, with plenty of food and beverage service throughout the day. There were lots of activities available, including complimentary water sports. We also participated in a painting class on the beach, which was such a fun and unique experience. One excursion I highly recommend is the speedboat tour to Soufrière. It was packed with fun activities, including a mud bath, waterfall visit, delicious local food, and spectacular scenery. Overall, we absolutely loved our getaway at Royalton Hideaway Saint Lucia. It was worth every penny and gave us so many wonderful memories.
