Amazing Staff

Had a wonderful time at La Toc! The staff was so amazing especially Travis with the bow tie! His friendliness and attentiveness to our needs was above and beyond! Whether we needed drinks, towels, or food he was always there offering without us ever having to ask. I would highly recommend La Toc not only for how beautiful and comfortable our stay was, but for how amazing the staff was!
Disappointing Resort

Resort: Dated and in need of an update. Staff are actively maintaining grounds and upkeep. Just in need of a make over. Staff: Some are great while others are completely unhelpful and seem annoyed to help you. The daily walk around of spa and photography staff trying to schedule/sell is frustrating when you’re just trying to relax. I realize it’s their job but would like to be left alone to relax and not have to say no daily or explain you’ve already been to the spa. Drinks: Very inconsistent. Some are good. Others are terrible. I ordered an on menu drink at the piano bar 3 times and it was 3 totally different drinks. Basically you have to drink sweet frozen drinks to get anything good. I asked for a margarita and received 3 shots of tequila, 2 shots Gran Marnier and 2 splashes of lime juice shaken, the margarita glass was full of straight alcohol. They moved the bar staff daily, so even if you found a good bartender, they were somewhere else the next day. Some days they came by the pool chairs to take drink orders, other days they didn’t come by at all. Food: Generally subpar. Not a fan of buffets at all so we went to Armando’s to get a menu breakfast. The food I received was somehow still pre made from the buffet options. I ordered the avocado toast. The toast itself was hard and cold, must have been made first thing in the morning. Tasteless avocado smear with no toppings. Hash brown side was cold and blonde. I ended up going to the buffet daily and ordering an omelet from the station and toasting my own bagel. It was the only way to get a fresh warm breakfast. Lunch options were minimal were slightly better as you could get food to order. The pizza crust and sauce were good but the cheese was gummy and oily. Armando’s was a good option but I didn’t want pasta for lunch daily. Neptune’s was a decent lunch option. Dinner was just ok in general. The worst service we received was at the French Restaurant and British Pub. We were basically ignored at both places and never asked if we needed anything besides taking our initial order. At the French restaurant they didn’t fill my water nor my wine but came by and filled my husbands wine. The Creme brûlée was the worst I’ve ever had. Basically watery pudding with a thin burnt marshmallow layer on top. Calling it a layer is being generous as it was super thin. At the British Pub we were ignored other than taking our order. I had almost a full burger on my plate and my husband had his plate covered with a napkin. I went to the restroom and staff came by to take plates, they asked if they could take “this,” my husband thought they meant his covered plate, instead they take my almost full plate of food and leave his napkin covered plate. Most restaurants wouldn’t ask if you needed anything during your meal. If you wanted something you have to stop them as they’re setting your food down before they walk away. The exception to this was The Pitons Restaurant. We received excellent attentive service, good food and desserts, water and drink refills and the chef even came out to meet us. I was unable to finish my entree due to portion size and the staff made sure I enjoyed it. I assured them I did but was just too full to finish it. If I’d received this level of service at the other bars and restaurants I’d be leaving a much different review. I would have been happy to eat there again but the app will only let you make one reservation per reservation only restaurant per stay. Club Level: Generally a waste of money. There really wasn’t anything they did there that the front desk couldn’t do. The lounge you were promised seemed like more of an office for them. There were 4-5 bottles of alcohol in there but nothing to mix it with unless you ask. Some muffins and cookies. No sandwiches and wraps as mentioned. Generally super weird vibe and we didn’t want to hang out in what seemed like a staff office. You also get room service with Club but the menu you’re given to scan has a late night menu on it. However, the late night is apparently only for butler guests, we weren’t able to order anything at 10:02PM even though it was on the menu we were given. Overall value: For the amount spent on this resort, we did not receive the level of service nor food and drink quality I would expect from this type of resort. I’m frankly extremely surprised by all the excellent reviews. I read quite a few and it does seem like the butler level guests are pleased with the service, so maybe that’s the only way to get good service at the resort. Beach: The beach view and water are great. I did enjoy that component of the resort. However, there are off resort excursion staff trying to sell from the beach. Cleanliness: Generally clean except for the disgusting duvet that had blood on it our first nights stay from a previous guest. They clearly did not change duvets between guests. Mini bar: Stayed well stocked which we appreciated. A few in room snacks would have been nice given the amount of money spent.

First time visiting a sandals!! we had an amazing experience! Ray of Sunshine literally .. Duty Manager - Ray Sunshine! is the best ! we love her! she did everything! so helpful!! thank you for the best experience!! We’ve booked two sandals vacations because of her. The Japanese restaurant was incredible
60th Birthday… Unforgetable experience in every way!

Ray - Ray of Sunshine as we called her was amazing! We had a party of 10, three of my kids and their husbands and my stepson and his wife. Ray was so accommodating she always was asking whether she could do anything for us and the kids told her it was my 60th birthday and so she, on her own had room service put rose petals on the bed and had champagne on ice for my 60th birthday! I was so surprised and touched that she would go out of her way! We had a beautiful time at sandals and she made it all the more special for me!

Come here ! The staff is awesome ! We love it here ! It’s the best! The food was amazing and the excursions were top notch! The Ray of Sunshine is outstanding! And I love her! Best energy! If you come to sandals ask for the Ray of Sunshine! She will take care of everything! Thank you so much !
