This hotel does not follow COVID 19 protocols. During my stay, I along with several other guests was allowed to leave the hotel grounds and mingle with the public only two days after arrival. I wore my mask the entire time and did leave the island with a negative PCR test and never contracted COVID but a lot of the other people did not wear their masks. I can definitely see why the numbers are spiking on that island. It's because of places like this.

Get to the hotel and booked for 1st floor, we get second floor (my wife and i have issues with our legs so we needed 1st floor). got luggage? Carry it yourself to your room, no elevator! get in the room and see the wrapping around the toilet indicting it was sanitized but when you open the lid i see the longest black hair staring at me! hot water was not working but they did get this fixed. Was told this was all inclusive, including meals (also eat dinner at area restaurants included), drinks, use of the water park, daily spa treatments. when we got there was told restaurants, spa treatments and water park NOT included. After some back and forth they gave us ONE spa treatment and ONE restaurant use. if your eating at the hotel/resort give yourself 2-3 hours min as this is not Island Time, THIS IS BAY GARDENS TIME. You will wait a LONG TIME for everything. if you can, spend the extra 3 bucks and eat breakfast at the resort as the hotels breakfast is terrible and its ONE person working the buffet so it takes a LONG time just to get toast alone, and God forbid if you ask for your eggs a certain way (while eating breakfast i look up and the guy working the buffet is eating chicken wings over the toast station!). and if you order your breakfast you will blow your morning on breakfast. my wife had the fish and chips at the hotel for lunch and i never seen BLACK FISH for fish and chips until i got here! Will try to post the photo. for my birthday (Sunday) we decided to use our one restaurant trip they gave us except they were trying to reserve it for us on a day they were closed!! and they knew this because i noticed while waiting at the front desk they were running the restaurant schedules on their monitor on a video loop and it said they were only open Tues Wed Thur (Jacques Waterfront). Of course if we knew this we wouldve picked a different restaurant but no one told us. i said to the hotel rep "why are you calling them?? According to YOUR video they are closed?!?" she looked at me like i had 3 heads and said to my wife what can i do for you? My wife said "nothing now its too late!!" so we decide to eat at the hotel and have steaks and when we ask for apps they said BECAUSE WE ORDERED STEAKS WE HAVE TO PAY FOR THE APPS?!?!?!?! ALL INCLUSIVE!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?! Remember this is my birthday and they knew that because they gave me a birthday card!! i thought i was going to fall off my chair!! at that point we said forget apps just bring the steaks. I wasnt going to give them another cent!!! so much more to complain about but do want to say some folks there were very nice. and the drinks were good. and after the initial hair in the toilet they did do a good job keeping the room clean. but too many folks there just didnt care about anything and walked so slow if they walked any slower they wouldve walked backwards! i really think covid did a number on this island and i hope they come back but unless they really get their act together folks will go elsewhere in the Caribbean. in any event do not go to the hotel, (dont even think about the inn!! your on your own over there and will not have access to anything!!! no kitchen or bar so you have to order everything to come over, can you just imagine how long??) the resort is ok as the buffet is better and the resort is on the beach. if you stay at the hotel beach is 15 min away by foot or they run a shuttle hourly and will get you there in 5 min. problem is the shuttle, like everything else, is on Bay Gardens time so who knows when it will show up???
