Wonderful family trip to GCBC!

This was our third visit to St. Martin, first stay at the Grand Case Beach Club. We enjoyed a perfect, relaxing vacation this spring with our 3 children (11 and younger). Our family stayed in a two bedroom deluxe suite, which was the perfect accommodation for a family our size. The downstairs bedroom had a king bed, while the upstairs bedroom had two double beds and a pull-out sofa! Our kids were thrilled to each have their own bed in the upstairs bedroom. The suite was extremely clean and comfortable. We did encounter a small maintenance issue on our first night (a light switch that could not be toggled to the 'off' position) which could not be remedied immediately, but was fixed the following day. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare some cold breakfasts and reheat leftovers. We really enjoyed our days at the resort! Of the two beaches at the resort, we spent more time on Grand Case beach, where the water was consistently very calm (even when it was rougher at other beaches on the island). In fact, our kids preferred the resort beach to the other couple of beaches that we ventured out to away from the resort. Grand Case beach at the resort is narrow, with only one row of chairs between the water and the retaining wall. You can check out items like snorkel equipment and paddleboards for use on site. The pool, atop the restaurant area, has wonderful views of Grand Case, Creole Rock, and the boats going by. There were several other families with kids staying at GCBC the same week as us, and our kids often found other kids to play with at the beach or pool. The free laundry facilities were a great surprise! We also took advantage of the on-site spa to get a massage. There were 1-2 daily activities at the resort such as fitness classes, a guest mixer, and an Easter egg hunt (we visited the week of Easter). The on-site restaurant, Sunset Cafe, was excellent. We ate several meals there, not only out of convenience but for the truly delicious food. I did not realize ahead of time that the restaurant accepts reservations, and in fact seems to prefer that guests make reservations (even for breakfast!). We were always able to be accommodated for a walk-in meal, but I gathered that the folks with reservations got the tables with the best views! We also walked into Grand Case many days for dinner; while we had rented a car, we found driving into town easier than trying to drive into town on the narrow road between the resort and the restaurants. The resort area felt safe, and there were typically many other hotel guests walking to/from dinner as well. We enjoyed our stay at GCBC so much that we have already booked our return stay for next spring! Thank you for the wonderful hospitality.

We started coming to Grand Case Beach Club in 1995 and have never had a bad experience. We missed after Irma and during Covid. Each stay it keeps getting better. The rooms are spacious , incredibly clean and well equipped. If you are going to cook the kitchen has everything you need.. The staff are fantastic—friendly, very helpful and always remember us from previous stays. The longevity of the staff reflects on management and a great place to work The setting is gorgeous. Two beautiful beaches, a pool that sits on top of the restaurant and a well equipped gym. They offer yoga and beach exercise. The restaurant serves very good meals and drinks. There is bar service on each beach. The water sports desk has kayaks, paddle boards, snorkeling equipment and floating mats that are free to guests. The grounds are very well maintained. There is always someone trimming, raking or sweeping. We always feel safe. Walking down to the restaurants and boutique shops in Grand Case is about a 7 minute walk. Walking back after dark is still safe. There is a shuttle to take you down to the restaurants for a minimal fee. Our last 2 stays we brought our 2 children, their spouses and 4 adult grandchildren. We had 2 oceanfront townhomes and an oceanfront studio. Everyone had plenty of space. One in our party has mobility issues, but he was able to get around and enjoy all of the amenities. Our children and grandchildren now understand why this is our home away from home. Already looking forward to forward our next stay at GCBC.

This is the only place to stay in Grand Case--we can not wait to return. Our suite was perfectly clean and very comfortable. We had a big balcony that we used to have coffee in the morning and wine in the evening. The restaurant at the resort was excellent--we ate there several times even though walking town is very easy--like a 7 minute walk. Both beaches are beautiful and the snorkeling is great. Everyone who works here is very friendly and helpful. We hope to come back very soon.
Perfect!

We loved staying here! We had a 2 bedroom ocean front unit. The place was well appointed and very comfortable for our family of four. We loved having the two terraces to enjoy the sunset views and relax by the water. The beaches were both beautiful. Best of all is the location- easily walkable to the town of Grand Case for access to fantastic restaurants and some cute shops. Highly recommend!
