Great hotel with a beautiful beach to get away

This was our third stay in 30 years, having been here 2x in the early 1990s and loved it for the serenity, seclusion , and clear calm water. It’s been re-built since the last hurricane is better than ever. Beautiful room with small kitchen, and we bought groceries at the mini mart so this was helpful. The restaurant was very good, and there are now nice walking paths around the point with chairs. Maybe because of these improvements, the hotel was more crowded this time, including families, which is great for them! Not the vibe we were going for when returning 30ys later as new empty nesters but that is just us. Doesn’t detract from the overall score for others. It’s a great hotel!

My second visit to GGBC was exceptional. The beach never disappoints with outstanding views and calm tranquil waters. The people at the hotel are always kind and go out of there way to ensure you have what you need to enjoy your stay. Can't wait to return.
