Just stayed the one night passing through for an early flight. They have used the Covid time to do a great renovation in the lobby and restaurant areas. The menu in the restaurant was really interesting. I recommend the Poke Bowl. The rooms look nice and modern and as usual the beds give a good sleep. What really impressed me was the staff. From the checkin attendant to the bellman who helped us with our bags at 5:30 in the morning, each one of them was cheerful, welcoming and fully attentive. Thanks so much for a good experience.
Love the new look!!!

We've been staying at the Gateway Hotel for a few years now and we love this hotel due to the ease of leaving my vehicle in a protected parking lot and not having to wait for or take a shuttle to the airport.
Even terminal 1 is a couple of minutes away on the tramway located just out side of the lobby.
I’ll be honest I was ready to give up on the convenience due to the renovations. We stayed her in July ( first business trip since in 18 months because of Covid ) when the entire hotel was almost shut down while they renovated. From parking in the underground maze to the mouse and Even taking the tramway required us to walk across the street to terminal 3 and crossing back over.
Things were a little better in early October when we came back. The new lobby and restaurant ( including a Starbucks) were open and parking was back to normal.
They did an amazing job in the lobby and check in area! Bright and modern however it was the same old outdated room with no ports to charge your phone with.
Last weeks stay ( November 12th ) was absolutely fantastic!! The new room is probably one of the most functional and relaxing I’ve been in for a long time!!
Lots of space, very modern lighting and a nice round table workstation with power ports and yes charging ports.
The old bathtubs were taken out and replaced with a large glass shower with and additional hand wand and lots of pressure.
They’ve also gotten rid of the tiny shampoo and hand cream bottles and replaced them with a pump bottle and body wash.
I am very impressed and happy I waited for the finished product. I noticed that there are still a lot of rooms being worked on therefore I’ll be sure to request an updated room when I go back next week.
A little more expensive than the airport strip hotels but we’ll worth it!!!
