Poor Globalist Experience

The main reason for the low review is their really poor globalist experience. This hotel looks to do the bare minimum to just pass the brand requirement. It’s one of the worst I’ve experienced. They are the only Hyatt I’ve ever experienced who expect a surcharge for a suite upgrade. If you have status with another major chain I’d recommend choosing them - Marriott has better options in Vancouver.
Impressed with accommodations

We were impressed with the service from the moment we booked the stay. Our extra early check in was accommodated without any questions. The room was clean, spacious and smelled fresh and pleasant. The concierge was great, he helped us with directions and answered many questions we had. I loved the privacy and the quiet of the hotel as we did not see or hear staff members or guests in the hallways. We just loved it and we’ll be coming back.
