Would definitely go back!

The hotel was beautiful. Room very comfortable, and spacious. The restaurant exceeded our expectations. We had the buffet breakfast which was visually stunning and delicious with more options than I've experienced before. Our server Stan was terrific to the point where we asked for his section every morning. He anticipated every need. A shout out to Catherine the barkeep who was a wealth of information and a delight to talk to. We will definitely stay here when back in Vancouver.
Location staff and room made for a wonderful stay!!

Just left from a 3 night stay at this hotel. I’m going to strongly disagree with the last couple of reviews, as our experience was top notch. From checkin with a lovely friendly staff member to the delivery of breakfast , just wonderful. Parking attendants were very helpful. But the highlight was our room. 36th floor and a view to die for!
Terrible Checkin Experience

I am a titanium member. I have stayed about 500 nights at Marriotts throughout the world in the last 5 years. This was the worst checkin experience ever. I had an experience with Sean , front desk supervisor. He was rude, disrespectful, dismissive and lacked any communication skills at all. I did reach out to the VP of the hotel and he help resolve the issue. I have notice in the last few years that the staff lack customer training.
Ordering in room dining

Shout out to In room dining employee Bill Zhou who promptly recognized my error in placing on online order and dealt with it very efficiently and effectively including a personal room delivery. Very polite and courteous. Front desk host Ksenia also interacted and ensured I would not be penalized for my error. I am very impressed with these 2 hotel employees.
the worst terrible hotel
Hyukkee C on Apr 07, 2026
I have stayed at hundreds of hotels, but this one is truly the worst. When I arrived at the hotel, I was already physically exhausted, yet I had to go up and down to my assigned room three times because the key card kept failing. For nearly 30 minutes, my family was left standing anxiously in the hallway on the 8th floor, not knowing what to do. Despite the situation, no staff member showed any genuine concern or attempted to resolve the issue. Instead, they repeatedly told us to wait in line. In particular, the manager even threatened to cancel my reservation if I did not stay quiet. I sincerely hope that no one else—neither my family nor any other guest—has to endure such a rude, dismissive, and even discriminatory experience at this hotel. I will do everything in my power to make these issues known so that no one else has to go through what we experienced.
