Here we are again! We’ve been to this resort over 20 times and stayed for 10 days this time around. We had a fantastic time…although the weather could have cooperated the last 4 days! As always, the staff are some of the friendliest people, always smiling, helpful, and genuinely welcoming. From the moment we arrived at front desk with Tania to Lizbeth seeing us off on the last day, we love coming here. It truly feels like family. Our room was very spacious and spotlessly clean throughout our stay. Water and towels replaced daily. Housekeeping did an excellent job keeping our room clean. The food was consistently good, with plenty of fresh options. Jimmy’s Buffet has a variety of breakfast and lunch options and offered fresh fruit, such as the bananas, guava, papaya and pineapple, which were always delicious and always taste better than what we get back home. Hello to Abel, Alexis, Lazero and Virgen! We spent a few afternoons with Orestes at the Dunas Bar - he makes a delicious Piña Colada. The a la carte restaurants offered delicious food. Martino’s has a beautiful piano player who plays with such passion. El Mojito, the Cuban restaurant, also offers good food, especially the soup! The freshly baked bread is delicious! The restaurant rotate when they are open and share Yanelys and Alfredo. After dinner we head downstairs to see Mabel. She makes the best Spanish Coffees and such a wonderful woman to chat with. Her laugh is infectious!! The evenings were spent in the lobby with Mercedes or Ana or by the pool watching the shows - hi Teresa and Rosiris! The resort was quiet by 11 pm, except for the party revellers hanging around the pool. Overall, we had an amazing time and we are looking forward to returning soon. I would recommend this hotel for many reasons. Did I mention it was an Adults Only? I hope this review helped you consider Hotel Los Cactus next time you go to Varadero.

It's a nice resort . Friendly staff. Good dinning. Nice big grounds . Good size swinnning pool . Rooms are nice and spacious. Good price for 9 days stay.
