Varadero Iberostar Selection – A November Gem Visited right after Hurricane Melissa (Nov 2), and guess what? Varadero didn’t even flinch. The resort is big, airy, and sparkling with excellent facilities. The pool? A social hub with lively entertainment. The beach? A postcard come to life—wide, sandy, lined with umbrellas and loungers, and that ocean… crystal-clear, the kind that makes you question why you ever own shoes. Night entertainment? Professional and fun—well done, team! Dining – Where Happiness is Served The dining hall is spacious and blessedly air-conditioned. Food? Plentiful. Drinks? Flowing. Desserts? Yummy. But the real magic is the staff—friendly, efficient, and genuinely making you feel like royalty. Special applause for Yeline and Roberto, the table-decorating duo who turn every meal into an event. They don’t just serve—they sparkle! Housekeeping – Niurka’s Kingdom Niurka deserves her own fan club! Rooms were immaculate, with whimsical towel art that made me smile every time. She’s polite, cheerful, and full of helpful tips about the resort. Any request? Handled like a pro. Honestly, if I could pack her in my suitcase, I would! Lobby Bar – The Heartbeat of Iberostar This isn’t just a bar—it’s the resort’s soul! Everyone passes through, and nobody leaves without a smile (or a cocktail). The team—Yanila, Yulean, and Lachy—are tireless, funny, and lightning-fast. Whether it’s coffee at dawn or pina coladas at midnight, they deliver with charm and humour. The vibe? Pure energy and laughter, fueled by the best rum in Varadero! What We Wished For If we could add something, it would be a kids animator (there's plenty of little ones at the resort and they would love some organized fun!) and an entertainment team on the beach—morning stretches, fun games, maybe a little music to keep the energy flowing by the ocean. The beach is already paradise, but a sprinkle of organized fun would make it unbeatable. Bottom line: If you want a resort that feels like a second home—minus the chores and plus an ocean that looks Photoshopped—this is it. Go. Just go!

Have been many times at this resort. The service, the care about details, the friendly staff are simply unmatchable! Very clean resort too, Reina, the house keeper, makes sure the room is always spotless! Highly recommend.

I have been to Cuba many times and this is the best resort I have stayed at by far! Service is amazing, food is delicious, and the beach is to die for. The Nightime entertainment is the best I’ve seen and of professional caliber. Special thanks to Idelsis at the reception for her warm welcome, Dayana for her cheerful spirit, Daniela at the coffee bar for her amazing cappuccinos, Daniel for his warm smile at the buffet and Deysi at the restaurant for always going out of her way to make sure we are having the best time. We will definitely come back again, and leave having many new friends we look forward to seeing again!

This our third stay in resort. Everything that I said before stays. Our experience was even better. I hope we will come again. Everything was exceptional: great, well maintained grounds, clean rooms made every day, great selection of the food and drinks. Every day enogh drinkable water supplied in the rooms. Smooth and seamless check in and check out. Something that makes this resort really exceptional is the staff, great people in the restaurants, bars, grounds, maids. We stayed in many resorts in Cuba but never experienced such great service. Beach is amazing, good packed send allowed to run along few km of the beach. It is hard to believe you can find better stretch of the beach for morning run, barefoot or in running shoes.

The resort is beautiful and well maintained, with spacious areas and a very pleasant atmosphere to relax. The staff was friendly, and the common areas were always clean and organized. The real highlight, however, is the evening entertainment — absolutely amazing! The entertainment team is super talented, and the nightly shows are fun, varied, and very well produced. They easily deserve a solid 9 out of 10! One thing that could be improved is the variety of dining options during the day. It would be great to have more restaurants or snack spots open at different times to give guests a bit more flexibility. Overall, it was a great experience, especially thanks to the wonderful nightly shows and the welcoming atmosphere throughout the resort. Highly recommend!
