The kids pool is incredible! My Mom and I went with my 10 month old girl and we lived in the kids pool. The pool is very shallow so we put her in a floatie and she had complete independence to walk around! The kids pool almost always had many children playing and the Cuban children were exceptionally kind and loving with my daughter. The beach and ocean are the best I have ever seen! The waiting staff were wonderful. They greeted us immediately and worked to make our experience the best possible! They paid extra attention to my baby - bringing a baby chair, small dishes, waving hi, and were NEVER bothered with the mess a 10 month old makes eating. Huge shout out to Irasama who served us every night in the buffet, and Zoelys who came to say hi/bye and interact with my Baby even though we never sat in her section. I would suggest bringing non-perishable food items (especially if you are celiac). The food is very representative of the country's economic state and the lack of imports is starkly evident. Bring patience with you if you go to the snack bar (e.g. 30 min+ for fries). The airport on the way home is astronomically expensive and they only allow you to bring SEALED food through security - plan ahead.
