I have been a devoted fan of the Melia Varadero since I first discovered it in the late 90's. Although by no means the newest, it its dramatic architecture makes it the most beautiful of Varadero's many hotels. But even more beautiful than its amazing ambiance is the welcoming warmth of it staff. From the time you pull-up until the time you depart you will be made to feel special by all of the Melia staff. There are 6 restaurants ranging from fine dining to buffet to casual, from Paella to Japanese to Italian. And I have quickly become addicted to "The Level". Taking up the entire top floor, The Level offers 24/7 concierge service, a lovely lounge and lots of little perks like an la carte breakfast restaurant and complementary golf.

Arrived late ,room had a musty smell,very dated Couldn't sleep due to a generator going all night Tried to open the balcony door, the handle fell off Horrible view from balcony,looking at containers and bins Food was awful, no salad or fruit Mainly bread cheese ham Very noisy dining room Asked the cleaners for milk/tea/ coffee every morning, didnt get any The pictures are not thr reality,very dark and depressing Cash/personal belongings taken from my case in the room which I left on the bed as I was leaving When I complained to management they asked me why I didnt use the safe and said there was nothing they could do,very unhelpful I would advice anyone to steer clear from this hotel,definitely not 5 star,more like 2 star and that would be for the beach

I have been to many hotels but this one is the best by far. The service is impeccable. It's very friendly and I must absolutely commend Adrian Daniel and yosleydi they will answer every need you have. I will for sure return

We were a group from Bulgaria who visited the hotel in March 2026. The service was perfect. We didn’t have any problems thanks to everybody and especially Julia and Louis! The food was great, there was entertainment for everyone every night. Definitely would recommend!

Nice place, very good service 5th floor LEVEL is the best, Daniela and Vladimir are very friendly. Hi from Bulgaria!!!
