Outstanding room service by Maria

Maria room service server was amazing ! My recent room service experience with Maria was absolutely outstanding from start to finish. When I placed my order, she was warm, attentive, and genuinely interested in making sure everything was perfect. Her professionalism and kindness truly stood out. When Maria delivered my meal, she greeted me with a bright smile and went above and beyond to ensure everything was presented beautifully and to my satisfaction. It’s rare to encounter someone who combines such efficiency with genuine care, and Maria made me feel like a valued guest every step of the way. Exceptional service like hers deserves recognition — thank you, Maria, for turning a simple room service delivery into a memorable highlight of my stay!

Excellence at the Wall centre Van again

Great service from the front door to check in and especially in the lounge. Slight mixup on billing after I left and the manager had it resolved in no time. My favourite place to stay for business and also just with the family. Excellent all round!

Centrally located, great experience and great service

Well our visit did not start off great. Mix up at the front desk held our room from being ready an extra 5 hours. Nonetheless once we were situated, we ran into some great people here at Sheraton. One of those people was Billy in the club lounge. He was welcoming, attentive and knew our names by the second day. Always reminding us to stay hydrated, offering us more snacks for the room, even checking on how my daughter was as she missed a few breakfasts with us. We’ve been to 5+ Marriotts a year for week long holidays all around the world and Billy sticks out for his service and genuine kindness. Thank you Billy.

Mixed bag at aging convention hotel

We had king large corner room in north tower. Pluses: (1) location, (2) sleep quality was good. Those are big pluses, but many details spoiled the experience. Negatives : (1) while the room seemed clean, it was an aging decor with furnishings that didn’t fit the modern design of building, (2) the common areas smelled of chlorine from the pool - I avoided the gym because I figured I would be overwhelmed by chlorine odor, (3) the club lounge was small, old style, not much food, unclear how to order (for fee) any beer or wine, (4) on positive side they got us checked in a little early which was helpful. But when we asked for late checkout (we are high tier Marriott bonvoy) they initially said no, then after we pushed said a bit later but ask us tomorrow, then finally said yes on 3rd attempt to what we wanted. But then they failed to update our keys to reflect the late departure which resulted in a brief lock-out, (5) this is an oddly configured large complex. The south tower where uber drops you for check-in has a sister building - but it’s not part of the hotel. You have to walk through a long skywalk to a 3rd tower to get to north tower. The very large north tower had only 3 elevators - which I imagine generating queues when hotel is full, (6) there was an odd green deodorizer box under desk in room. Room smelled fine - but perhaps because it required that to be there??? No active exhaust fan in bathroom - only passive vent. Overall I would only stay in this hotel if I was going to a convention there.
