Comfortable,Clean and Safe

Lots of steps for those who have any mobility issues. The pool deck is the lowest level but you still have steps down to the beach and a bit of a view. Sixteen steps per floor for a four story building not including the pool deck. We stayed on the floor above the pool deck and had a great view with a fair sized balcony. The pool is a good size but take NOTE there is not a kids pool. This month has had a lot of toddlers and diapered babies in the pool and all their floating toys. This month also had a lot of Sargassum on the beach and a Sahara Dust Wind so we couldn’t escape the screaming children at the pool because of the beach issues and stayed at the pool during the day. The hotel does keep the beach clean but cannot keep the sargassum under control. Mother Nature dictates. The hotel does have security presence on site. The Hotel staff are excellent from the front desk to housekeeping. The rooms are large with a microwave kettle, toaster & a proper sized sink & fridge. A very good cost saving in meals as food is extremely expensive in Barbados. The bathrooms have a large easy step in shower. Lots of hot water and water pressure. They have a wash line in the shower to hang clothing items on. No other washing facilities but for sending items out at a big cost for cleaning. The beds are very comfortable. The rooms are attended to every day. The two restaurants on site serve good food. The owners of this hotel are family owned and the pride in their business is evident in the service provided.

Location, comfort and value.

Location, location, location...and VALUE! Coconut Court has it all. The hotel is on the beach. The pool is on the beach...and the beach bar is...on the beach. The rooms are quite big, and overlook the pool and ocean with a few palm trees on the beach. The rooms have a mini fridge, cook top, microwave, electric kettle and sink. Our room had the beds pushed together to make a king. They do not have an elevator and there are lots of steps, to the room and beach. Be mindful if that if you have mobility issues. The beach is safe, they have security inconspicuously placed under the almond trees. They also make their rounds chatting with guests. You have no worries leaving your stuff with your lounger. The staff is professional and friendly. I do wish the service to the pool was more frequent. I felt that breakfast was rather pricey. $50US for 2 people for breakfast is a tad over priced for eggs, pancakes and bacon. A coffee shop with local Bajan baked goods would be a nice addition. They have a concierge to help book your island adventures. They also supply pool noodles and floaties if you like. The gift shop has all your needs including beer, wine and spirits. The location of Coconut Court allows you to catch a ZR to Oisins or Bridgetown for B$3.50, and they can be a fun ride. Plus there are a number great eating and drinking establishments within walking distance. They can also arrange to have you picked up at the airport to make arrival easy.

Our favourite ocean front retreat.

Safety and security are a priority for us when travelling. This hotel has a top notch professional friendly team that ensures your comfort and relaxation while at the beach. You can enjoy sunny or shady spots all hours of the day by protected normally calm water. Rooms are comfortable clean and have beautiful views of the ocean. Restaurants offer variety of choices for all meals. Live entertainment most evenings. South coast location convenient to many activities. We return as often as we can.

Be careful of this hotel taking money that they shouldn’t be from your card.

DayTrip587689 on Apr 24, 2024

When I booked this they took an extra payment off my card for a similar amount, they denied this repeatedly even though I sent them proof of my credit card statement, after several emails they looked in to it a with their card provider and discovered I was right even though I had proof. When we were there they did this again and I showed them the credit card statement at reception, I was there a couple of hours trying to sort as they couldn’t see it again and they told me to wait until the 30th as it would get refunded back to my card. This never happened so I sent them a message through booking.com who I booked it with and they replied saying please send an email to our reservations dept and gave me the email address, obviously I did this immediately and have had no reply, I have since sent further emails to the address they gave me and also through booking.com. I am still awaiting responses never mind a resolution! I never leave negative reviews but I have to make people aware what has happened and hopefully I will get a response through this channel. This is so bad and I am beyond disappointed and upset that a company like this can just take your money and then completely ignore you in the hope you will go away, well I’m Sorry but I think we all work too far hard for our wages and can ill afford to be robbed like this, it’s absolutely outrageous. So please check all your transactions carefully when handing your credit card over to this company.

Lovely family run hotel

Absolute gem of a hotel. We really enjoyed our stay. We had an oceanfront room and wow the view each morning was definitely a good start to the day. Beach is beautiful. Bus outside to get around. Staff here are lovely. Rooms are spacious and well equipped. My only suggestion is we could have done with a mini hob to cook eggs in the morning. We would love to return.
