I was here with my Sister in December of 2023, it was my second visit, and I was so Impressed with the Friendly Service and Amazing staff I am coming back in August for another visit. I find the previous review from " Vernon m" to be inappropriate and miss leading. First; this wonderful little resort is not in Cabo, it is in "San Jose Del Cabo" which is a city of it's own with Amazing Beaches and a Wonderful Charm. Second (and more important) I find comparing the Service and Dedication of the hotel Associates to a "Troup of Monkeys" is Disrespectful and totally inappropriate. I found on Both visits, the hotel associates were Amazing, Friendly and Professional. This is a smaller Resort but it offers so much.

Omg ,downtown Eastside of Cabo .What are the reviews at 4 plus .Run far run fast.You would be better served by troup of monkeys.Dirty disgusting .Travellers with much experience and patience ,you can't do that much coke to make it worth it ..Pay a couple hundred more a week and stay at a real hotel . My wife and I are just home from a one-week West Jet vacation at this resort. We LOVED it! Check-in was seamless. Our room was clean and comfortable. The only negative was it did not have a fridge, which we could have obtained if we wanted to switch rooms. We chose not to. This property is exactly what we expected from the research we did in advance. Yes it is an older hotel with some wear and tear at the edges, but very clean and well maintained. The setting is unbeatable! It is quiet and relaxing, which is exactly what we wanted. The beach was gorgeous, the pool, lounge area, hot tub and snack bar were never crowded. The meal selection at the buffet was adequate but well prepared, especially the breakfast and omelet station. Service was EVERYTHING at Posada Real, from the chamber maids to the front desk staff, the cleaners and gardeners to the wait staff. Our personal kudos go out to young Antonio at the snack bar and Onuel in the Cactus Buffet. Both went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. We cannot say enough good things about the concierge staff, in particular lovely Lupita. She was simply one of the nicest and most professional people we have ever met. She helped us in so many ways and we will describe just two. When my knees gave way on me, Lupita jumped in to the rescue. She phoned numerous stores for us and found a walker on sale at Walmart. She sent her daughter to buy it and assemble it for us. She also went to a bank on her own time for us to obtain smaller US Dollar denominations for gratuities when we ran low. We sincerely hope that hotel management recognize the jewel they have with Lupita! We are already looking forward to another visit this fall. Many thanks.

We loved everything about this resort. The staff are very friendly and helpful, the restaurant serves decent meals buffet style and cooked as needed, the bar offerings are great, the beds are comfy, housekeeping is thorough, the property is well maintained, and best of all the water is completely safe! The activities guy is great. There is a small convenience store on site where you can buy chips, knick-knacks, sunscreen etc It is a nice walk into the main square where the Art market is held every Thurs evening. There are some nice shops and restaurants a couple of blocks away. There are a couple of large grocery stores in easy walking distance.

Normally I post reviews praising establishments, and keep the little things to myself, however on this occasion I have to be critical. I appreciate the design and architecture of older hotels, as long as they are maintained, unfortunately the Posada Real Los Cabos, a WESTJET recommended resort, is not one of them. Poorly painted doors, paint peeling of the ceiling on the patio, deadbolt on door not working, along with no striker plate on door jam, reported five times to no avail, shower water not being contained within the glassed area, cabinet doors hanging loose, draws not on runners, bedside table lamp held together with zipties, air conditioning . The food was mediocre, the most enjoyable meal, being omelet for breakfast. The STAFF, SERVERS, and CLEANERS etc. could not have been more accommodating, it is a shame the front desk and management could not have had the same customer service attitude.
