    After several great experiences especially on Level 5 I must now report in the negative for the "superior" room. Level 5 used to have the nice little bar and snack area, tables and TV where people could visit and enjoy the wifi. It also used to have the concierge service with internet cards included every day and guaranteed a la carte reservations. The nicer lighting is still in the corridors but the rooms are not maintained to a superior level. In short the only thing "superior" about the Level 5 superior room is the slightly higher price - everything else is GONE. and don't forget the golf deal is gone! No more green fees included. The staff continue to be excellent from the maids to the management. and security - well done everyone. Just making a report so folks will not be surprised and disappointed.

    BEAUTIFUL BEACH! The water was so clear you could see your feet! I rarely saw any seaweed. 2 bedroom family suite was huge! The furniture was a bit outdated, but I really wasn't in my room majority of the time. Although it would have been nice if I had all the cushions on my sofa and my guest washroom worked. My maid Miriam was amazing! Always left me extra bottles of water and towels. I had 1 maid who who was horrible! Left no towels and 1 bottle of water for a family of 4, I believe her name was Tonya. Food: I'm personally not picky and always found something to eat. The fish was amazing lunch and dinner. We were only able to book 2 A la Carts - Italian, WOW! my choice was amazingly good. The Cuban restaurant was also good. However the snack bar at night was HURTING! They had very minimal food options and drink options. Activities: non-existent, I came with 19 people!! We made our own party, there was no music or nighttime shows. Out of the week there was only 2 shows. Overall my company and weather made my vacation. Hotel needs quite a bit of work. Not a bad resort, but I wouldn't come back.

    It was brutal. When the buffet was closed the only option we had was to eat at the snack bar. I had tried to oder food from the menu 4 separate times. Each time I had to ask multiple times where my order was. I watched big groups come, get served before me (i even tipped) . each time they only served pizza on the menu (there was at least 10 items) but 4th staff just didn't want to prepare a trying but pizza.. They were rude each time I tried to order they made me feel like I was a pest to them. We ended up making sandwiches at the buffet and taking them to our suite cause we didn't want to starve for the rest of the evening.

    Upon my arrival and checking in the following issues I had at the property 1) guest rooms the dead bolt inside broken did not lock, balcony door did not lock. I didn’t feel safe 2) mold in the bathroom ceiling and tiles in the shower stall 3) phone did not work calling for front desk in case of an emergency or even a wake up call 4)dining room buffet the staff where cutting the paper napkins in half for all place settings 5) one day had ketchup the next day no ketchup. Server said don’t have any. Next day they put tomatoe paste in a bowl on the service line for condiments 6) asked for a beer during my dinner and the server said Iam too busy to get you a beer you can get one your self 7) water glasses the base of the glass was chipped and the server didn’t seem to be concern on the safety issue 8 the line cooks who where serving food did not wear gloves and never seen them wash there hands 9) six bathrooms on site toilet paper was not replenished when required. Had to bring toilet paper from your room 10) housekeeping staff did not have the proper rags and cleaning solutions to disinfect the bathrooms. All supplies where put on a garbage bags for transport chemicals and rags 10) pool was very dirty especially the boarder around the pool was black mold also the grated outside of the pool was full of debris 11) snack bar was al a carte had to order off the menu. I had a tuna sandwich and flakes of tuna not four ounces that should be on the sandwich 12) snack bar menu said they had French fries received banana chips 5 on the plate 13) snack bar menu pizza to choose from was told don’t have any today 14 all bars where rashioned on mint leaves for your mojitos 15) during a performance in the main pool it was announced all guests to be out of the water during except two men from Russia refused to leave they proceeded to swim underwater to disrupt the show. They performers stopped and the coach was fuming and proceeded to go the bar which was attached to the pool and told them to leave the pool the Russians ignored the coach. The coach took a plastic glass to get there attention and throw water. The Russians came out of the pool and proceeded to the bar and started fist fighting with the coach. Guests of the property intervene as there was no security to be found during this altercation. Staff at the resort especially the around the situation did nothing. Security was called but did not answer the phone I was scared for the safety of the staff and guests They hotel management is setting themselves for failure. These issues are serious and all they said we will look into this. It’s too late when nothing was done. West jet vacations needs to remove this property off of there packages. The hotel is run down. The entertainment was all inside in a meeting room. That will not attract the guests. They had a stage behind an area near the pool they only used this for news year eve Pool towels to receive new ones where shipped out off property. They do not have laundry service on the premises so guests had to wait At least two hours Ibertar corporate office in Spain need to look into this matter as they will be loosing bookings I WOULD STAY AWAY FROM THIS PROPERTY

    The quality of the hotel is definitely not the sam than in the pictures. They started to renovated the whole building, but the biggest problem is the purity. The pillows, the blankets and the towels were very dirty. The reason was that the lobby is wrong. It is unacceptable. The walls has some strange patch. I do not want to know what was it. The bathroom and the toilet were disgusting. If it were not expensive then I could have accepted the quality. I can not recommend anyone this hotel. The pictures speaks themselves.
