Beautiful presidential suite as upgrade. Amazing staff. Food from lure for supper as well as breakfast was absolutely delicious and the staff in restaurant as well at front desk was amazing. My son was transferred to base here and we were here for 1 night and couldn't have asked for better anything. Walking distance to town, shopping and empress hotel to visit.

Have stayed here before and most likely will again. The Lure, in Hotel restaurant, was very good with fine food and great service. The suite we stayed in could have used wee update and certainly a better in room Coffee offering. Great service by all hotel staff during Covid.

This was my first time staying at this hotel. It was amazing!! Views of the harbour were amazing!! Close proximity to walking trails was amazing!! Close proximity to downtown amenities was amazing!! Having said that, we used a rental vehicle and made use of the underground parking. I made great use of the pool and hot tub. We also visited the bar/lounge and restaurant. All staff was great, friendly and accommodating.

Several years ago we stayed at this hotel. I don’t remember it being so great. However, decided to give it another try. What a difference. The hotel has been totally refurbished. Our room overlooking the harbour was lovely. Everything modern, bright, clean and shiny. The views over the harbour have to be some of the very best in Victoria. I’ve stayed at several other hotels there including the Fairmont and this one has hands down the best views. The location is awesome too. We were able to walk right out the back door onto the pathway that will either take you into the harbour front or out towards Esquimalt and some excellent restaurants along the way. We love walking so this was paradise for us.

Right from the reservation stage to check out was a great experience. The front desk staff, especially Angela , were so helpful. I booked online but needed to phone to request adjoining rooms. Check in was flawless. When I asked about getting a cab to go the dinner, they called for us. During dinner my son felt ill so he walked back to the hotel, but unfortunately had the room key that had the safety lock applied inside. I phoned from the restaurant and they were able to get him into the room. All of the staff were so friendly and helpful. We were missing our annual Mexico vacation but this hotel helped make our mini vacation be good.
