Good restaurant, good food, at the restaurant/buffet Server Francisco Jacqueline was a delight to have around and serve the food, clean the area, quick, easy, simply wonderful.

Over Thanksgiving I traveled with my wife, best friend, and in-laws. Oleo was a beautiful boutique resort that was larger than expected and overall exceeded our expectations. There was not much to do, however, what it lacked in entertainment made up for in great service. Very few restaurant options, but very good food. The beach area was small but plenty of space to relax and enjoy the ocean. The ocean front room that we had was by far one of the largest rooms I have ever stayed in Cancun for sure. Overall, I would highly recommend this resort for a shorter Cancun stay, especially for the value. Speaking of the great service, I wanted to give shoutouts to Ham from the buffet, Felipe from the pool bar, Armando from the lobby bar, and Angel from the Mediterranean restaurant.

I stayed here for 8 nights and had a great time. The pool and beach facilities were very good and the food amazing. The staff were all great with special mention to Francisco in the Azul restaurant. He was fantastic, always smiling and welcoming.

Oleo playa really nice hotel to stay with family food delicious especially Hakka restaurant number one amazing food excellent service nice staff very helpful. The sushi lady Cruz, shef Bahena and waitress Adam they are the best xx.

Recently spent 6 Sun Filled Days at the Oleo Playa and had an outstanding trip. They call it a Boutique Hotel, it's small but quaint, our room was outstanding and we had zero issues with anything at the hotel. Our Check In and Check Out person was Julia, she was very informative and cordial and let us know what we needed to know at the resort, very informative and helpful. We spent the majority or our time at the Pool, Ramiro was the DJ, entertainment and he made us feel more than welcome, extremely cordial and very nice to speak with outside of him doing his work, he does a great job keeping the vacationers relaxed and entertained. Felipe and Armando working the Pool Bar did an outstanding job, always quick with the smile and keeping our drinks fresh, they did an outstanding job and also made us feel extremely welcomed. Sharia and Charlie at the pool were great as well, always had a smile for us and very attentive to our Food and Beverage needs, they did an outstanding job and were always there when any beverages were needed. Overall the entire staff seemed happy and made out vacation more than worth staying at the hotel. We usually stay on the Playa del Carmen side of Cancun, this was our first stay on the Hotel Zone in a while but would definitely come back, Oleo is quaint but not overcrowded. Food was outstanding, any Restaurant you go to, you can't go wrong, very good food and lots of selection. 5 STARS for the Oleo Cancun.
