Excellent hotel, big, spread out but very, very well kept up.

There for a convention and meetings. The only complaint is the food court is a long way from the convention area. No please to even buy coffee without a long walk. Rooms are very nice, staff is also helpful.

    Beautiful but massive resort

I stayed here for a work conference and was very impressed with the facilities. The service was great, the food catered by the hotel was above average and the rooms were spacious. I had a room on the 8th floor alllll the way at the end of the hall and it was a trek to the elevators. One time I got all the way to the coffee shop and realized I forgot my purse and although I could use my room charge, I had to make the long trek back to my room. A full 20 min round trip. I had a package delivered and that was no problem to figure out but they did charge me a pick up fee and didn’t tell me about it until I saw it on my bill. Not a huge deal. There were a few Disney travelers but mostly business people. I would go back again, but I would request a room closer to the elevators!

    Good conference location

This was a good conference location in being a conference venue closely located to hotel rooms which was very convenient. Good customer service at restaurants. Downsides are that it is not a diverse population of clientele who were guests. Great pools. It needs more privacy at adult pools where kids are not allowed since there are family areas for kids. The rooms need to be updated since they are quite dark and old fashioned in their decor.

Right where do I start with this hotel as there are many good things to be said. Check in was very quick and painless and the front desk staff were very helpful. I was given a room on the 14th floor which is fine for me and when I entered my room the view I got from the window was lovely as I was facing the front of the hotel and not the hotel. My room was very spacious with 2 large comfy beds and lovely firm pillows. Bathroom and wash room area were lovely and clean with various free washing items. Tea and coffee was supplied as well which is always good but I do tend to take my own travel kettle and of course English tea bags. There is an ironing board and iron in the room and a large safe which had plenty of room to keep my iPad Pro safe. A large tv with various cable channels was in the room but never got to watch much tv. Free WiFi is available in virtually every corner of the hotel and was a good consistent speed and you can upgrade to high speed Internet for a charge of course. There is a shop or market as it’s called here on the lower ground floor which sells a large variety of goods but of course they are at hotel prices. There are a few good places to eat at the hotel all serving meals to a high standard but a but pricey as is expected. The pool area is lovely with a nice large pool and also a kids pool which is enclosed. Towels are provided poolside and there is a snack bar where you can get drinks and food. There is a long drive up to the hotel which is impressive and ample free parking which I took advantage of while I was here although there is valet parking if that’s what you require. The hotel does get quite busy at weekends due to the golf course but it never affected my stay at all. The hotel do provide a free shuttle service to Disney world and you can get tickets to Universal studios in the lobby. All in all a fabulous hotel and I will be quite sad to leave to travel home but I would quite happily come back here anytime. If you are looking for comfort and a little bit of luxury when you want it give the Rosen Shingle Creek Hotel a try you will not be disappointed

First time at this resort and I was not disappointed. From check in to check out the service was very good. The pool was great. Steer clear of the restaurant "A Land Remembered" no one in our party enjoyed our food. The other on site eatarys were ok. Overall for a conference or large group, this was a good choice
