I recently stayed at the Rosen Shingle Creek a night before a flight out to London. I was very impressed with the hotel. The room was spacious and clean. The view from our room was fantastic! The hotel itself is lovely. I am looking forward to staying there again. I booked the hotel on a Hotwire deal and was very happy with the price I paid too!

I remember coming to visit Rosen shingle Creek after it had just been built and it seemed like it was very far out of the way, now...years later everything has build up to the point that this is a very convenient location. It sports a nice array of restaurants on site and a “convenience “ type store on the pool level. Tobias Burgers & Brews was my personal favorite. If, by chance, you’re on a budget...don’t fear, you’ve got options close by! Located directly across the street from the resort you can find a shopping center Lake Cay Commons with Publix (pick up wine & cheese there, you’ve got a fridge in the room!). Dunkin Donuts, Beth’s Burger Bar, NYPD Pizza to name a few and there is also an escape room. Back to RSC there is an awesome gym on site that even has two spin (ok it’s not the Spinning brand) that have computers showing cadence, mileage and calories burned. Tread mills, ellipticals, weight machines etc...appeared there was a personal trainer available as well. The charge for gym use $10 per day or $20 for the entire stay (might want to double check that, but just know, there is an extra charge for use). I also saw there is a guest laundry...I didn’t use so I don’t know if there is a charge. The standard amenities were included hair dryer, coffee, soaps and lotions iron and ironing board and an in room safe. Hope this helps you prepare for your trip.

Just stayed one night...late and out pretty early next morning. Room was amazing and clean. Hallways are Very long so if you can't walk far - request closer to elevator. Pool and grounds were very nice.

We stayed at the Rosen for a trade show. We were there for 5 nights. This is a very large resort property with 1500 rooms and many conventions. During our stay there was a cheerleading competition which adversely affects my rating. I was a cheerleader as well as a coach for many years so I get it. However these girls were allowed to run rampant throughout the hotel, with loud behavior and no regard for the other guests. Eating breakfast or lunch in any of the restaurants was impossible especially since their group was getting a 50% discount on their food. The best we could do was buy something at the marketplace and either try to find somewhere quiet to eat or eat in our room. My suggestion before you book is to find out what type of conventions they are having that could negatively affect your stay.

We had an excellent time staying at the Rosen Shingle Creek between Christmas and New Years. The grounds are impeccable and the staff are very friendly. They go out of the way to make sure that you have a good stay and are responsive to what is requested. They are very close to Universal which is just a short drive away and convenient. I would recommend purchasing the concierge lounge while staying there if it's not included, it is $50.00/day but includes continental breakfast (for everyone in room) as well as self-parking and other snacks. Thank you Mr. Shoemaker, you run a first class hotel and are a huge part of its success.
