We stayed here 9 years ago when they first opened and had the most amazing time. We went back Dec 2025, and it was not the same experience at all. The beer was never cold, food was so so, wait staff was not very attentive and expected high tips to even get waited on. No one wanted to help unless you paid them $$. There was only two waiters who went above and beyond and that was Wilbert and Robert. Those two helped make our stay good. The hotel itself has a lot of wear and tear but beds were comfortable and it was clean. Overall we had a good time but won’t go back again. If you’re looking for a loud party atmosphere this is it. Quiet and relaxing, you will not like it.

Great getaway right before the holidays. People are very friendly, good drinks, AI food….. exactly what we expected. Edwin by the pool will take care of you! He’s the man!

Terrible experience. I got food poisoning and was out 2 of the 7 days I was there. The food was okay but everything took forever. There was no “calm” pool. Both have loud music or lots of stuff going on. The beach is not the clear blue beaches. It’s dark water and it’s not because of seaweed. Most people don’t even go to the beach. I never saw one person in the water.

Had an incredible time at this resort and can’t say enough good things about the staff. They truly made our stay feel special from start to finish. A huge shoutout to Robert and Juan Carlos at the Xcelerate pool — they were always so friendly, attentive, and made us feel like VIPs every time we saw them. Their service really took our experience to the next level. The overall vibe of the resort was fun, relaxing, and welcoming. Between the great service, beautiful setting, and positive energy, it’s the kind of place you look forward to coming back to. I’d happily return every year and highly recommend this resort to anyone looking for a memorable getaway.
