I have negative things to say but NOTHING about Edwin, Roger and Christian. They were easily the most amazing servers and bartenders we’ve ever experienced at an all inclusive. They busted their ass to get whatever we needed or wanted.

Worst all inclusive experience ever!!! Hotel was completely over run with Spring Breakers. During booking there was no mention that this property allowed spring breakers and we were not notified prior to our arrival of this. As a result, we really could not enjoy any of the amenities. The breakers completely took over the pools, bars and restaurants. They were drunk and very obnoxious throughout the day and night. In order to dine in one of the restaurants you needed to be there by 5pm. Even then, the breakers were there and they were so loud you could barely hold a conversation. Other than that issue, I found the food to be just average overall. It seemed like all the food tasted the same regardless of which restaurant we ate at. For us our favorite restaurant was the Italian and least favorite the Mexican. The soups at each restaurant tended to be very good and service was excellent. The staff was the highlight of the trip, had it not been for them I would have rated this one star or less. Even though they were slammed with spring breakers, they made every attempt to make us happy and take care of us. A couple of standouts were Julio and Lidia in the Xhale Club and Luis the entertainment director at the Secrets pool. On our fifth day we complained about the breakers and their conduct and were granted access to the Secrets side along with their restaurant. That spared this from being a total loss. While this property was well maintained and in a beautiful location, I would not return. We have stayed at numerous other all inclusive resorts including other Secrets and each of those provided a better experience.

Make sure to watch your drinks and if you don't be prepared to pay for it physically, mentally and monetarily. Keep a friend with you at all times if possible. Wish I would've never visited this resort.

The customer service was top notch! From day 1, Vincente and Victor at the Exhale pool made sure we were taken care of. They both work so hard, taking care of everyone at the pool. Roger and Edwin were hands down, the best wait staff we've experienced at a pool, always checking in and remembering exactly what we ordered. Manuel in the buffet each day for breakfast and lunch was such a breath of fresh air. He's so genuine, always with a smile on his face. Deborath at the Sports bar each night was on top of our order and always delivered service with a smile. These individuals definitely made for a memorable trip. The seaweed prevented us from spending much time on the beach, so the pool staff was key in making this a perfect girls trip.
