Great 8 day stay at Alaia! Eric welcomed us warmly and helped us throughout the trip along with the front desk and concierge. The 2 bedroom suite was perfect for our family with teenagers. Rooms are well taken care of with essentials in the kitchen to cook, cool AC, pools were wonderful with plenty of towels and pool service was superb. All restaurants were great and loved having Moises as a waiter. The Belezian night buffet was a great highlight while the kids enjoyed pizza. There was some sargassum but the hotel took care of it daily and great care of the beach. Enjoyed the gym and filtered water as well

This was our second stay at Alaia, and it absolutely did not disappoint. There is just something about San Pedro that keeps pulling us back, and Alaia has become a big part of that. We visited a little over a year ago, and coming back felt like returning to a place that already felt like home. One of the highlights was seeing Eric again. He is hands down one of the kindest and most helpful people I have ever met. Every interaction with him was genuine, and he consistently went out of his way to make sure our stay was exceptional. Alaia is incredibly fortunate to have someone like Eric on their team. I also want to recognize Francisco and Marcos from the security team. They are true professionals and some of the friendliest people you'll meet. Their presence gave us complete peace of mind throughout our stay, and they always greeted us with a smile. The resort itself is beautiful, well-maintained, and perfectly located. Whether you're relaxing by the pool, enjoying the beach, or heading into town. The staff across the property consistently deliver a level of service that keeps us coming back. We've traveled to a lot of places, but Alaia continues to hold a special place in our hearts. We are already looking forward to our next visit.

Just to give you my background. I am an Ambassador and Life time Titanium with just shy of 3000 nights in Marriotts in the past 17 years. This was one of the best vacations we ever had. The Hotel was fantastic. We did not do the meal plan but had breakfast everyday at the hotel which was excellent. The best part was they not only had American choices but Belizean choices as well. We did eat at the Deck and the food was amazing. I had Mahi Mahi (LOCALLY CAUGHT) and my wife had chicken. We did have the pizza one night and it was ok. The rooms were emasculate as was the property itself. The staff was the best I have had at a resort in a long time. Some standout names later Because we went in March the hotel was full, but they did upgrade us to a room with a view of the pool and ocean and for that we were grateful as we live in the mountains in Vermont. FYI/ Marriott is the only chain hotel on the island so books up very fast. Marriott is building a new Hotel as I write this. There is so much to do on Ambergris Caye besides lay at the pool, so never an issue getting chairs. They do have a beach but no swimming. There was sargassum but had no effect on us. The Island/ You do not rent cars but you do rent golf carts to get around. Prices vary so do your home work. There are only 4 roads on the island so you can't get lost. This Island is not like going to Aruba. What I mean by that is as far as I am concerned Aruba is like the USA on an in the middle of the ocean. Ambergris Caye is going to an authentic Island where you eat there fresh food and learn about there culture. They speak english and are extremely friendly people. Excurtions/ Belize has the 2nd largest living reef in the world, so diving snorkeling and every other water experience is there for you to enjoy. We spent a day with EZZY BREEZY ADVENTURES (BRANDON) on his boat. First we fished and Brandon dived for Conch. After fishing we went to a private beech and Brandon cooked everything for lunch. After that he took us for a tour of the mangroves then we swam with the sharks and stingrays. It was a full 8 hour day of greatness. We drove the whole island and went to the Truck Stop for lunch and various beaches. Once you fly into Belize you can take a puddle hopper or a boat to Ambergris Caye. We opted for the boat ride. No matter what restaurant we went to the food was fresh and you have many choices I can keep writing but hopefully you have the jist. I had an excellent stay at this hotel, and one of the highlights was the outstanding service provided by Eric, the bellhop. From the moment I arrived, Eric was welcoming, professional, and eager to help. He handled my luggage with care, offered helpful information about the property and local area, and always greeted me with a smile. Also the gentle that was host during breakfast and did concierge during the day. He has amazing energy and also was so positive. Lastly, Ms. Mini at the pool. She was always available and had our drinks right on time. When we had an issue with the food she immediately apologized and fixed it. The staff made the experience even better. I highly recommend this hotel and look forward to staying here again.

I specifically want to acknowledge the excellent service from Hezron and Kenroy at the sea salt restaurant and pool cabana. They both went out of their way to make us comfortable and feel special. The spa was wonderful. My friend and I both had an amazing experience with a massage and facial combo appointment. I believe Jeanette was the name of my masseuse
