Guests arriving into Belize City (BZE) will be transferred via an inter-island flight to the regional airport of San Pedro, Ambergris Caye (SPR). Regional Aircraft type will vary between 3- and 14-seat configurations; baggage restrictions and applicable fees may apply. A land transfer from the regional airport to/from the hotel is also provided. All transfer details will be included in the travel documents for purchased packages.

Booked an upper sea view unit for a week for 1st Belize visit with friends who own another unit. 2nd floor units come with an upstairs loft (w/ sleeping for 2 more) in addition to 1 br and sleeper couch. Kitchen is compact but sufficient & well stocked with all needed items (but not food, except coffee & sugar). Each unit also has large "Sparkletts"-type bottled water for drinking & ice. You can pre-order some supplies to stock the kitchen/fridge which is a nice perk; otherwise nearest grocery is in San Pedro approx 3.6 mi away. Communication was very good and they made several helpful suggestions re booking flights to/from Belize City. While some units may seem a little dated (some have tile counters, others have quartz & new sinks), the units are very clean and comfortable with rattan furniture, Belizean wood accents and housekeeping kept things tidy. Especially loved the terraces with patio tables. Lots of great restaurant & bar options nearby. Grabbed breakfast across the street a few times--very handy. Grounds are lushly tropical and immaculate and groomed daily. Pool area is lovely with many chaise options in water and on deck, in sun and shade, with great bar & music. Tennis, volleyball, outdoor chess, corn hole & ping pong on site. Great value and would definitely stay there again. Does not seem to cater to the young adult "party crowd" (Which was a plus for us.)

This is the 3rd time we've stayed at Belizean Shores. The last time was 3 years ago and I'm happy to report that the resort is just as beautiful as ever! They maintain it very well! There are always people working to maintain the grounds and the buildings. Special shout out for Marvin and Brittany at the pool bar! They took great care of us during our stay!
