This was my first trip to Belize and it will be an unforgettable one. Although, I have to admit after my best friend and I chose to stay at Margaritaville, I started reading some of the reviews about the resort. Some guests complained about how far away it was from everything and I started second guessing but she and I decided to keep our reservation and I am so glad we did! From the moment we stepped foot onto the property, she and I were greeted with nothing but open arms and smiling faces. The staff was amazing! Each and every one of them go over and beyond their call of duty. I can not even begin to say enough kind words about Ken. This man literally makes you feel like you are the only guest staying at the resort. If you have a need for anything, he will make it happen. Not only will he make it happen, he will make it happen quickly and always have a genuine smile on his face. The property is immaculate. The rooms are very spacious and immaculate. The beds are so comfortable. The food was great. I have to give a big shout out to my girl Gianna. She was an amazing and funny bartender. She always made me laugh and she made the best drinks. I have to give a big thank you to Flora as well for going with me to San Pedro and showing me the best souvenir shops. I do not regret staying at Margaritaville one bit. Everything and everyone was top notch. I will be going back very soon to see everyone because I feel like they are part of my family now.

We travel a fair bit, the hospitality here is unmatched ! Kind, so thoughtful, genuinely friendly and thoughtful. Ken and the whole team were amazing. The property itself was beautiful and well appointed…the onsite restaurant was consistently wonderful. It’s located far North on Ambergris Caye, we only returned to San Pedro once during our stay for a snorkel trip out to Hol Chan on the barrier reef…rent a golf cart and go yourself…it’s an absolute experience!

This would be my third time visiting Margaritaville Belize. They have the most comfortable beds, I always feel right at home. The food at the restaurant was amazing as always. Would highly recommend to anyone looking to visit Ambergris Caye.

I came to Belize for my birthday and stayed at Margaritaville Beach Resort in Ambergris Caye. After arriving in San Pedro, we were checked in by Pedro in the city of San Pedro while we waited for the Margaritaville water shuttle to take us to our resort. While we waited, we had lunch at the Blue Water grill. The brisket sandwich was delicious. Upon arrival at the resort, we were greeted by Ken, General Manager, and the owner of the resort. The gentlemen were very friendly and welcomed us to the resort for our vacation. I didn't really have anything planned but noticed that a sign was posted in the lobby of the activities being sponsored by the resort. I took advantage of the bar hopping with other guests as well as Ken. We had a fabulous time. Ken was such an amazing host and a very friendly guy. We enjoyed live music at TruckStop and had a drink at the moxie bar near the beach. It was so beautiful and calming to sit on the beach at night and sip a cocktail. Our last stop was Wayos in which Ken told the bartender that I was celebrating my birthday, so I received a free birthday shot. The drink was delicious. The next day, the resort offered shuttle service to secret beach, and we had a blast. We enjoyed lunch inside the ocean. Secret beach was truly a vibe. We returned from the beach, and this was the night that I was supposed to have dinner on the beach. It rained pretty hard so my dinner on the beach was changed to riddles in the sand restaurant. They decorated a table with flowers and candles for my special day. The dinner was delicious. I enjoyed the Belizean stew with peas and rice, spinach and plantains. Leo was our waiter, and he was very attentive. It's almost like he what we needed even before we asked. The next day, it stormed most of the day. We didn't have a microwave in the room, so I texted Pedro because we needed food warmed up. He sent Kevin to our room to get the food as well as our ice bucket. He warmed our food and brought us ice. The cleaning team cleaned the room daily. The bartender was very attentive. The resort was not full to capacity, but I took advantage of it because they were very attentive and accommodating from the check in staff, bartender, waiter, general manager, cleaning staff, and everyone else. They constantly made you feel welcomed. Ken was the BEST. I look forward to taking another Belize vacation just so I can encounter him. We went out the night before I left. He made it so much fun. His personality is bubbly, and constantly keeps you laughing. Meeting him was one of the biggest highlights of my trip. My only complaint was how far away the resort was from everything, and the Margaritaville water shuttle only ran twice a day.

The location wasn’t the best but the staff and all the things they did for us made up for it they really made our stay memorable. Pedro was a great help from the time we arrived and throughout the whole trip. Faura and Jose were great at the front desk. Flor, Jhosue, and Leo were awesome in the restaurant. Jaianna and Allan at the bar to great care of us! The place was nice and the people were great!
