The Westin Nova Scotian is a great hotel with an excellent location and walking distance to many interesting sights in the Halifax downtown area. The rooms are spacious. The pool with salt water was warm and the hot tub was hot and operational. Everything worked perfectly. The staff is very helpful and accommodating.

Lovely hotel and right at the train station. We feel into bed after 23 hours on the train and it felt like heaven! We had a nice room with a view of the harbour. The rain shower plus wand is a really nice touch. The breakfast buffet was delicious and staff there were particularly friendly.

Wonderful place to stay! Our favorite hotel anywhere in the world and we have stayed in many. I have spent the last year bragging about The Westin Nova Scotian to my family and they exceeded expectations once again. Thank you Glenn and Danielle for once again making our stay so memorable...we will be back! On this trip I brought sister, brother (celebrating his 70Th birthday) and our precious 91 year old Mom who said she felt like we were treated like royalty! The rest of us agree. When you first arrive you are greeted at the door with welcoming smiles and if you are really lucky you will meet Luke and if you are really, really lucky you will be greeted by Lee...an outstanding human being! Thank you Lee for the heartwarming card as we checked out...you are special to us as well. Then you will be warmly greeted at the reception desk. They always make check in/out a seamless process. Thank you! Rooms are great and if you meet any housekeeping staff along the way you will be greeted by a warm smile and a hello. Last but not least...my absolute favorite part of this great hotel The Seaport Social! I feel so at home with these fantastic people! Special thanks to: Scott, Maks, Chris, Jeani, Kelsey, Rhoda, Coady, Bill, Sundeep, Aiko, Maddie, Tetiana and Amy. We were heartbroken that we did not see Tracy...fingers crossed for the next visit. I guarantee that we will be back!

Everything was pleasant. Flawless check-in, honored Platinum late check-out as soon as requested. Rooms are very soundproof. Elite breakfast is excellent. Elite free parking on site. Welcome card from General Manager Glenn Bowie with free drink was a nice touch. Hotel was full of young kids due to local hockey tournament, experienced no problem at all.
