Great location, friendly staff lovely hotel. Food service was outstanding. Must have the TiTonic at the bar!

Although the room, particularly the bathroom, were a bit small, the room was well-appointed and the hotel well located to downtown restaurants and attractions, as well as the train station and cruise ship port. Our room had a nice water view. The staff was very professional and helpful.

I had an amazing stay, both in the hotel and with our CPSC Convention this week. The food was phenomenal and service was exceptional. Front staff are just lovely and so kind and helpful. Great experience - thank you for everything!

We stayed one night in a king room (harbour view) after disembarking from a cruise ship. The cruise terminal is a couple blocks away, and the hotel is an easy walk to the many shopping & dining venues along the Halifax waterfront. The best part of the stay was the friendly and helpful staff, particularly Alex and his fellow concierge/bellhop. They gave us excellent dining suggestions for both dinner (lobster rolls at McKelvie's) and breakfast (the Daily Grind Cafe). The biggest disappointment was the room. Although it was a spacious king, it's a bit dated, and equipped for but a single traveller: only one luggage stand, which now seems to be the norm, even in modern hotels. More annoying was the absence of power outlet or receptacle on both sides of the bed. One bedside table had a 4-socket power block. The other had nothing, not even a nearby wall outlet for charging one's smartphone, iPad or other electronic devices that most travellers now depend on.

Great experience at rhe Westin--great staff and nice amenities. Pool and hottub were nice and musician was playing in the bar on Friday night. Location is convenient to the Boardwalk and walking distance to downtown and The Citadel.
