Everything was ok the room was very ok the store and restaurant was very convenient when to see the laulea.. lots of people very crowded at the block party

Great location for everything! Room itself was a real disappointment. Room was the smallest ever, very old and outdated, shabby, worn out and felt dirty. Noisy, wind noise from windows that would not fully close. Has great potential, with some paint and elbow grease! Disappointed and only positive was the location.

I have never left a 1 star review before because I know how important it is for businesses to have good reviews. As we entered our room, it didn't smell clean as we are used to at other places. There wasn't any smell but we could see all of the dirt everywhere: drawers, accumulation of dirt on shower handle, shower head and the tiles and little to no space to put our stuff in the bathroom. The sink is so small, as well as rhe bathroom. The worst part being we found roaches, dead and alive, as we were unpacking to leave to start our first day in Oahu. Sadly, we had to stop our plans, got it on video and went immediately to the front desk. We went straight to ask for a refund as we thought this could also happen even if we changed rooms. Our bed had stains, the air conditioner was leaking, as can be seen in the video. The man that listened to our complaints at the counter wasn't even fazed. Of course, this led us to conclude this isn't the first time this has happened and mostlikely won't be the last. He didn't even ask questions and immediately printed our papers so we couls start our refund process with Expedia. Sometimes paying a little more at another hotel is the way to go. We had to walk with all of our luggage to our new hotel. You really don't feel welcomed here and it shows quickly.

Surprised to be hit with a daily $45 service charge on top of the room rate when we checked in after being told by phone there were no additional charges. DO NOT book here if you need the hide a bed! You could feel every steel spring in the very old mattress with a light touch of the hand. It sagged badly as well, so the cross bars were felt as well. Homeless people sleep more comfortably! Other than those two issues, we were very happy with our stay. It is in a nice location and was clean.

Decent hotel for one of the cheaper options in Waikiki. The room feels more like a studio apartment, as it comes with a sofa, mini-fridge, microwave, coffee maker and kitchen sink. (Yes, everything AND the kitchen sink!) Room service is only every 3 days, and the room itself is a little bit dirty-ish and a bit behind the times, but if you've stayed at older places near beaches before, you know the vibe. It's fine, perfectly livable and comfortable. Only thing I wish is that they had a bathtub. It's tucked away in a very quiet corner, but a 2 minute walk gets you to a busy street, and a 7 minute walk gets you to the beach. It's actually kind of nice to be able to get away from all the action at the end of the day. Overall, we enjoyed our stay here and would do so again.
