I do not recommend this hotel. My first room was directly above the kitchen, and it felt like the walls didn’t exist. The kitchen staff cleaned loudly until 2 a.m., and it genuinely sounded like I was in the room with them. I didn’t sleep at all. The next day I was moved to another room, still close to the kitchen, and the ceiling literally felt like it was going to fall down from the noise and vibration. I’ve never experienced anything like this at a hotel before. Overall, extremely loud, uncomfortable, and not worth the stay.

Horrible owner leading to a terrible stay

We have been coming here for 16 years and it has always delivered! Best brunch spread in my opinion. Everything is cooked or baked really well. Awesome presentation too! I had the rack of lamb and it was probably the best I have ever had! One critique that I have is how the lamb was placed onto polenta and the gravy poured over it. It is a common theme in the Okanagan amd I don't know why. Another common theme is over garnishing with parsley! I had a parsley patch on my French onion soup and made sure to tell the waiter not to do it to the lamb. You have to tell every restaurant that or they will throw it all over your plate.

The rooms are nice as is the maid looking after the room. They want to make every dollar they can as when you go into a restaurant even if you stay there they want to make money on parking which is overboard in my opinion. Food is average but very expensive as a cup of coffee cost $5.00 which is ridiculous! I’d choose a more reasonable place next time as the room cost is super expensive for a three day stay at $1200.00 plus. Oh when you leave they charge you for parking which was unexpected.
