Well, get a load of this! These guys refuse to let blind people in the hotel if they're traveling with guide dogs despite Costan Rican legislation (Ley 7600) clearly stating that guide dogs have access everywhere (needless to say, Hotels included.) This kind of discrimination in 2026? What a joke!

I want to s and Compliments to Lorena at the Spa. I had a full body massage with her. She was very very good. I believe one of the best and top notch for her profession. Hoping I can find someone even a little comparable to her in my area in the USA. Thank you Lorena for a job well done indeed!

We were disappointed in many aspects of the resort. We were not welcomed with a friendly face, when checking in I was immediately told what we couldn't do instead of the offerings the resort had. We arrived at 3pm (at check-in) and our rooms weren't ready. We had a long day of travel and just wanted to relax in our room. Once we arrived at our room we were missing washcloths. The buffet was a struggle at times with many menu items that were repeated and not impressive. We decided to book at massage and the two women who gave the massages barely gave us a smile. Our last night we ate in the Italian restaurant and the AC was not working, we were soaked in sweat and had to end our meal early, it was a terrible experience. We travel quite a bit around the world and definitely felt that this resort was not welcoming. We love Costa Rica and would go back but not sure if I would book through this resort again. Also, someone had hurt themselves at one of the concrete tables and the bloody cloths were just left at the table. So unsanitary!

The staff are very friendly and helpful. The resort is beautiful, even with all the stairs. Rooms need to be updated or maintenance needs to be done on a regular basics. Buffet is not great, I am not a picky eater but I had a hard time finding things I would eat. Not a lot of options and questionable looking dishes. (I am not a fan of cilantro, its in everything!!)
