The actual hotel is fine, nice and clean with good facilities. A small shop with necessities is handy in the lobby. However there are sketchy people surrounding the hotel and we felt very unsafe to walk anywhere, even to the seven 11 across the road (which had an armed guard).

First impressions are important. The young lady at the front desk on 12/28 at 10pm was fabulous. Customer service is a huge deal for me. The young lady who helped me made me feel like she'd known me before. She made sure everything was taken care of. We complimented each other's head band ans bling. She gave me water and warm cookies (a great touch for a tired, late arrival) as I dragged myself to my beautiful room. The view from my room was magical. Somewhere there were fireworks. As I checked out in the morning, her "twin" allowed me to store my luggage so that I could complete a couple of tours. The hotel restaurant dinner was fabulous! I couldn't believe the menu included wagyu beef sliders! I was very pleased with everyhing!

The location is very good, the transportation is convenient, the room is very clean, the staff are very enthusiastic, especially Sophia at the front desk, she is very professional, helped us solve some problems, and made us feel at home. Also the bellboy Ramon, he gave us some suggestions and was very helpful to us. I will recommend all my friends who come to Los Angeles to stay in this hotel

Outdated and dusty The hotel location is the only plus. My bathroom was ridiculously small and windows not isolated enough so you can hear all the noise from the street. The management does not care to maintain and renovate the place. Avoid!

I had a terrible experience at this hotel. When I called to ask about the water being off in my room, I was told they had left a notice on the door, but there was no note at all. When I called back, the staff member told me it wasn’t her problem and that I should call the manager. I went down to the office, only to be told the manager wasn’t in, and I should just wait. I was informed that the water had been out for two days! If they knew about the issue, why wasn’t I notified before booking? To make matters worse, whenever I asked for a solution, they couldn’t offer one and just ignored me. I couldn’t wait around because I had a work meeting at 3 PM, so the whole situation was incredibly inconvenient and unprofessional. This was a horrible experience.
