Great hotel, staff is fabulous, Sandra at breakfast, head chef Manuel, to all the servers, just a great job, very clean place, down side is it is still classed as off season, so things were not completely open, lazy river getting tiled, front stairs as well, and no 24 hr snacks or drinks, but overall really good time

The Oceana restaurant is the best, the serves are funny, kind, and genuine. We recommend having your servers as Hector and Cesar. By the pool we recommend Hector as your drink server and Jesus, they are the best.

My Comment is director at the Omelette Chef named Sandra , just an Adorable woman with a million dollar Smile , I’ve never felt so welcomed and Pampered, My wife totally fell in love with her and her impeccable cooking and service. An Empoyee I’m Sure your Hotel is Glad to have . as my sincere opinion. Sandra sets the standard as I’ve been to many Hotels. Kudos . Thank you A. Ianuzzi

We came here for our honeymoon, and I genuinely don’t know how to put into words how special the people at this resort made our trip. The resort itself is absolutely stunning, incredibly clean, the food is AMAZING, and there is always something fun to do, but the people are what we will remember most. We tried our best to remember and write down as many names as possible because these people deserve to be recognized!! At the pool: Gregorio from Manatee was such a personable and kind bartender. Jesús and Raúl were our servers by the pool and were constantly checking on us, always with a smile on their faces. They all remembered our orders and preferences and made us feel so taken care of every single day. Nothing but great guys there & at the poolside restaurant!! Sandra from World Café: dreams, PLEASE never move her from that post!! We saw Sandra almost every morning. She works SO fast and is amazing at what she does, but somehow is still one of the kindest and most personable people. She had a smile on her face every single day. My husband speaks English and I speak Spanish, and Sandra always made such an effort to say things in English to him. It warmed both of our hearts. She is truly wonderful. Víctor and Paloma from the shop.. what can we even say about these two… They could have simply been the people working at the shop and ringing us up, but instead they became two of the people we genuinely looked forward to seeing. They were so kind, generous and caring, treated us like family, and would trade stories with us about our lives and families. We loved stopping in, catching up with them and telling them about everything we had been up to that day. They made such an impression on us. And then the restaurants!!! Astor from Portofino, Fernando from Oceana, Héctor from Portofino, Iván from World Café, and Fernando Rodríguez Torres from El Patio.. you were all incredible. Héctor served us many of the days we were there and was AWESOME. Our servers were attentive, kind and personable, and even when they were clearly busy, they still made the time to check on us and talk with us. We were genuinely sad to say goodbye. The managers were also constantly checking on us and making sure everything was going well, which we really appreciated. And THE FOOD!!! Incredible. Some of the restaurants close one or two days throughout the week, which honestly worked out perfectly because it encouraged us to bounce around and try different places. But you really do start craving certain dishes and desserts\!\! it gives you something to look forward to when the restaurant opens again! Because everyone knew we were on our honeymoon, people constantly found little ways to make us feel special. At two different restaurants, our servers surprised us with desserts that said “Happy Honeymoon”. Those small gestures meant so much to us. Héctor at the front desk deserves an extra special mention. He went WAY out of his way to help coordinate a surprise delivery of Happy Honeymoon flowers that a family member had sent us from the US. Words cannot describe how grateful we are for him. What stood out wasn’t just that he helped make it happen, it was how genuinely excited he was FOR us. His joy, kindness, and passion for simply making us smile was something we will never forget Thank you, Héctor ?? Miguel from entertainment was SOOO much fun. He ran karaoke and bingo while we were there, along with water aerobics at the pool and other games. He was AWESOME!!! He remembered us by name, was always encouraging, and his happiness was contagious. You cannot be around Miguel and not have fun. We also had an amazing experience at the spa. Amanda and another wonderful woman took such great care of us. Unfortunately, we did not get the other woman’s name, which we feel terrible about\! If we remember it, we will absolutely edit this review to recognize her as well because she deserves to be mentioned. The excursions were also incredibly easy to book and so much fun. One of the things I appreciated most about this resort was how comfortable they made BOTH of us feel. I speak Spanish and my husband speaks English, and not once did it feel like one of us was having a better experience because of the language difference. The staff made everything equally fun for both of us. They joked with us, learned with us, helped my husband with his Spanish, spoke English with him, and genuinely seemed to enjoy getting to know us. I have traveled to a lot of places, and I have never felt so special anywhere else in the world. This place is full of truly amazing people\. We tried our absolute best to mention as many names as we could, but there were so many others whose names we unfortunately didn’t write down. Every single person we interacted with was an absolute gem. We came here on our honeymoon and left knowing this place will always be a special part of our story. We will remember the beautiful resort and the incredible food, of course. but more than anything, we will remember the people who made us feel like family and we cannot wait to see again soon!!! Just go experience it for yourself! We cannot wait to come back!!!
