Authentic hotel

sibby39 on Apr 07, 2026

Booked the Pacific Palace, was upgraded to Luna Palace. The room was spacious, kitchenette included. We booked all inclusive. This included a daily breakfast buffet and access to all the Palace restaurants. The menu at the Luna was limited but very tasty...one of the best burgers I've had at an all inclusive. The bartenders were awesome! Those boys made great drinks!

The worst experience I ever had

??? ? on Apr 04, 2026

The housekeeper Synthya stole 55 USD on the second to last day, and we reported it to the manager. The next day, another 100 CAD went missing. After filing a report, the hotel management did nothing to resolve the situation. Instead, they chose to protect the employee by falsely claiming that I used force against her. Think 100 times before staying at this hotel if they protect thieves.

Great Place to Stay

389vickib (Calgary, Canada) on Apr 01, 2026

From the reception desk staff (Branden & others) to the housekeeping staff (Miriam) to the restaurant & bar staff, all made our experience a wonderful one. We had a studio room overlooking the ocean. King size bed, full fridge, microwave, toaster, etc. everything one needs. We chose not to have all-inclusive or breakfast plan and bought groceries so we could make our own breakfast & lunch. We put money on our account so we could order a snack by the pool or drinks during happy hour. Luna Palace has a great pool, is right on an expansive beach and is so close to some wonderful restaurants (La Cartina is one). We hope we can return next year. Highly recommend this small resort

Great hotel!

TravelFour-Life21 (Edmonton, Canada) on Mar 10, 2026

We stayed at the Luna Palace for a couple of weeks in February. Our suite had ample room with a kitchenette and two bathrooms. Housekeeping was awesome (they work really hard), always smiling and left us some fun towel art. Plenty of bottled waters were provided but we did purchase more on our own. Good size fridge and two burner stove (basics provided of pots, pans, dishes, glasses, cutlery). The hotel has a nice pool area and beach front lounge chair seating. Always somewhere to sit. Great ocean views too. We found that more long-term stays are good for this hotel. Just wish they had a laundry room. The location is great. Very walkable to stores, markets and restaurants. The staff were pleasant and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Good Place for an Extra Night Stay in Mazatlan

KenN281 (Fort Collins, Colorado) on Jan 27, 2026

My wife and I were vacationing in Mazatlan for a week at a different resort. On the day we were scheduled to leave for home, the airlines canceled our flight. Fortunately, we were able to get a rebooked flight on the nest day; therefore, we needed to find a hotel for one night. Through TripAdvisor, we found Luna Palace Hotel and Suites, and it was nearby from our original resort. We got in our room and it was nice and quiet. Room was furnished with a refrigerator, TV and free Wi-Fi. There was a swimming pool with a swim up bar outside. The only drawback was there was some mini ants on the kitchen countertop early the next morning that I wound up squashing.
