Good Place for an Extra Night Stay in Mazatlan
KenN281 (Fort Collins, Colorado) on Jan 27, 2026
My wife and I were vacationing in Mazatlan for a week at a different resort. On the day we were scheduled to leave for home, the airlines canceled our flight. Fortunately, we were able to get a rebooked flight on the nest day; therefore, we needed to find a hotel for one night. Through TripAdvisor, we found Luna Palace Hotel and Suites, and it was nearby from our original resort. We got in our room and it was nice and quiet. Room was furnished with a refrigerator, TV and free Wi-Fi. There was a swimming pool with a swim up bar outside. The only drawback was there was some mini ants on the kitchen countertop early the next morning that I wound up squashing.

The Eclipse restaurant at the Luna Palace is staffed by very friendly and competent employees. You are always warmly greeted and service is outstanding. I was never forgotten about. Of particular note are Nancy and Juan Pablo who have made my stay truly memorable and enjoyable. Mucho gracias por su Amistad y excelente service.
