We spent 9 nights here and had a small wedding ceremony on the property. Overall, it was a good experience. Hospitality was wonderful. Wedding support and photography was great. Gave a 4 out of five for nit picky things like the jets in our tub or the hand piece of our room phone not working. Room was a little musty, but maybe that’s to be expected with the climate. Housekeeping was helpful and consistent. Most of the restaurants were great. Lots of good entertainment during the day and in the evenings.

Exceptional preferred club stay. Private beach and pool was amazing and so relaxing. Food was so good with a lot of varieties. All staff were friendly and very accommodating. Room was clean and very nice. Plenty of entertainment. Lisa was so helpful with check in and check out process. Would highly recommend staying at secrets wild orchid

From the moment we arrived at Secrets Wild Orchid in Montego Bay, it was clear we were in for something special - but what truly made our stay exceptional was the amazing team, especially Jason from Loss Prevention. We were traveling as a group of three - myself, Alex, and Ola - and the resort itself was everything we hoped for: stunning views, delicious food, and just good vibes all around. But on one particular day, things could've taken a turn when I misplaced my phone. Enter Jason. Not only did Jason respond immediately, but the way he handled everything was incredibly professional and reassuring. He calmly explained that it was his job to investigate and check every possible spot until the item was recovered - and true to his word, he found my phone in record time. I honestly don’t know how he did it so fast, but his attention to detail and calm efficiency really stood out. Beyond that, Jason was just a joy to interact with. He shared helpful tips about the resort, was always full of positive energy, and had a “you’re in good hands” kind of presence. You could tell he genuinely cared about guests having the best possible experience. If you ever stay at Secrets Wild Orchid and are lucky enough to meet Jason, you're in for great vibes and peace of mind. He’s a credit to the resort - and honestly, we hope he gets all the recognition he deserves!

It was ok. it took longer than expected to check in. We paid for butler service but was only put for one room instead of all three rooms so we asked for a refund. We are still waiting for that refund which is very disappointing. Most of the food was disappointing, from the Jamaican restaurant to the Mexican were very under welling. Our only restaurant we loved and we went more than once was the french restaurant for dinner. As for the grill by the beach was awsome. we loved our pizza and burgers and wings. they were top notch. The Staff were very friendly and sweet. the place is more a very relaxing vibe which means most of the time the place is quiet.

A lovely resort but experience could be a whole lot better, the external surroundings were beautiful however the quality of service can very much be improved. Housekeeping and Room Service definitely require improvement. The room was not cleaned properly each day, floor was dirty and on one day, we had only one towel to share between the two of us. Cleanliness improved once we started leaving a $2 tip in the room each day. Shouldn't have to do this for the room to be cleaned or mini bar to be replenished. Mattress on the bed had a dip in the middle and I was aware of another couple having the same issue so this does need to be addressed. Food and drink of good quality however limited choice for vegetarians in each of the restaurants. I am disappointed that on the day of my special 50th birthday, I spent the day chasing for towels a few times, mini bar to be restocked and for room service to be taken (4 attempts over 2 days made). Given I did have a special birthday, not even a little something of a surprise treat was given. It appears that anything you want is an additional cost. Disappointed with bar staff as unless you gave them a tip, they didn't want to serve you. I don't mind tipping staff if they are coming to serve me where I am sitting whether its at the beach or pool however I don't expect to have to tip someone when getting a drink at the bar myself and expect a friendly service regardless of whether I tip or not. Definitely recommend bringing plenty of US dollars for tipping when coming to Jamaica and definitely at this resort as a basic standard service only appears to be provided when you give a tip.
