Tried to check in at 1pm and was rudely instructed that check in is 4pm...ok ...disappointing but fair enough. 4pm rolls around .....and the room is still not ready ....and the attitude still continued. I get cut off from speaking and when I stop her from talking over me, she claims I'm harassing her and she won't serve me IF I continue with that tone. ask for the manager, but she's not available. finally get checked in at 4:15 -20pm . I request that the manage calls when she's available.... that takes over an hour for that to happen. Manager is nice enough, offers a 10% discount and apologies that they are extremely short staffed, claims she cleaned 10 rooms herself that day. IF the manager of the Westin is cleaning rooms you can imagine the service level of this "4 star hotel" get into the room and its 25 degree and the AC wont go on . Call downstairs and they claim the AC system has not been turned on for the season !?!?!?! what a clown show . The excuse...its unusually hot this week but it's going back down next week . ....fine but I'm checked in this week not next week and its 25 in the room I cancel my dinner reservation plans at the hotel because I can only imagine the service level if the manager is cleaning toilets. made plans to go to pool to cool down and relax .... only 10 chairs for all the hotel guests (and they are fully booked) ....as you can image ...they are full after an uncomfortable hot night we call down for a late check out ... check out is 11am ...we were requesting noon of course.... they can't accommodate a late check out .....ask to speak to the manager again (figure this is the least they can do) .....we get puts me on hold for 5 minutes....come back to tell me she's busy and I'll get a call back(she must be cleaning rooms) .....ok we wait over an hour ....still no call ...so we go down in person.......finally get to the manager and get the late check out so frustrated at this point we check out at 11am anyway and wave good riddance to this joke of a hotel honestly people save the frustration and go to the Fairmount. It may be slightly more but at least they understand service

Great family vacation

This was a family trip and we booked the 2 bedroom suite that is very spacious for a family group. We have stayed here before and were looking forward to the great hot tub and outdoor (very) heated pool. The location is ideal and very close the lifts. The staff was wonderful (in particular the valets which is a must to use upon arrival). We were in room 515 which is the highest floor for the suite and it was very quiet location at the end of the hall and no room above us. The only negative is the restaurant which is a one star. We are Titanium travelers with the free breakfast amenity which turned out to be only cold food. We got the hot food upgrade for $10 per person. The food was average to terrible and we did not visit the restaurant again even having free vouchers in hand.

Superb fun ski vacation

Our family (4 adults and 3 children) stayed at Westin for 7 days and boy was it fun. Hotel is conveniently located right bet to ski lifts. Valet check in is the way to go and rest assured it is worth every penny. Valet staff are superb and they unload and load your vehicle. Please tip them as they really know how to unload and load your vehicle. Check in is at 4. Our room was 301, 2 bedrooms with living area and full kitchen. We used the kitchen to the max. Perfect for our group. All staff are very friendly and helpful. Ski equipment is locked away in a very convenient location. Hotel spa, outdoor pool and hot tub are great. This is a pet friendly hotel and that was our primary reason for booking Westin. I would give the stay 10/10 as our family really was not ready to return after such a superb stay. Thumbs up ?? Westin. Adding a few photos taken from our room and living area. BY the way we even saw a mama deer and baby deer from our room walking around from our window. Avoid it at all costs.

There is nothing good about this hotel. Avoid it at all costs. - The room was very very dirty. Bath tub was full of mold so disgusting. - The hotel is very old and outdated. - The room was poorly prepared and I have a finger cut because the glass in the bathroom was broken. - There is no reasonable breakfast... overpriced and only basic stuff,egg and bacon. - The staff was very very rude and impolite including the receptionist Chelsea and her bad-mannered manager.

5 Star Experience!!!

This hotel is best of the best. The room is big with a view. Also the gas fireplace is an excellent addition...that was my favourite...turning on the fireplace and feeling the heat. The lobby restaurant serves excellent breakfast and lunch. No dinner as they're currently understaffed, understandable as Covid hits the tourism industry heavily. Concierge Fred was very helpful in providing information. $25 underground parking. Just a short two minute walk to all the amenities the village has to offer. Again, this hotel is beautiful, clean, friendly, and totally worth staying.
