Very uncomfortable room

Room very uncomfortable. No comfortable chair to sit in, only a straight back chair, desk chair was broken. Had to request new one. Mattress was old and very uncomfortable. Breakfast was ok. Only nice thing was bottled water on breakfast buffet. Never will I stay here again. Will rethink Hampton Inns as well. I had booked room at one price, & heard the clerk quote a walk in patron a lower price, after she told her that she could get a lower price online, not true. This entire experience clouded my view of Hampton inns.

Nice and comfortable

Hampton hotels are always nice. The rooms are comfortable, well decorated and most important, clean. The breakfast buffet is wonderful. So much to choose from and all delicious. I do want to say that although the AAA book says shuttle to/from airport this property no longer offers that amenity so we took an Uber. However, Music City Shuttle will pick up guests and shuttle you to and from downtown Nashville for $20/person. We were told it used to be $10 each person. During CMA Fest, the price was $25/person. My other complaint is the pool. There were no umbrellas or place to have shade. We stayed June 11-14 and had high 90 degree temps. It would have been nice to cool off in a pool. We never saw one person in the pool. It was not inviting or welcoming. Overall, our stay was average but we are pleased.

Very good experience... would definitely stay again

I came to Nashville for some training. My boss put me in another hotel which was not very nice. When the regional manager found out where I was staying, he immediately changed my reservations. He said I would stay in a nice hotel and he was accurate. This hotel was so nice that when my training was over I stayed for the weekend for personal pleasure. It is very convenient to restaurants, the Opryland Hotel, and I even went antiquing. When I came back from training it was so nice to have everything at my fingertips in that location. The hotel was extremely clean the bed was extremely comfortable, and I cannot say enough good about it. It's a nicer Hotel, and you will pay a little more for staying there. But you get what you pay for. My room is beautiful, the towels were very thick and it was very clean. It was state like staying in a luxury hotel I would very much recommended to anyone. And I will be back!

Do not stay here…,..absolutely terrible place

This is one of the worst hotel experience we have ever had. Got kidding. Here come a list. We booked three room and requested early check in. Fail. Two rooms ready at regular 3pm time. One room not ready until 330pm. And even though same party room where on different floors. Hall way on our floor was soggy from water and floor smelled bad. Oh black mold grow on walls. Two different rooms had beds that squeaked badly. The phone on our room did not work, is that even legal?? Ice make was out of order. Online said this place has shuttle to airport They don’t. No shuttle to Opry. Paint peeling or ruined on most ever wall you look at. Oh let talk about staff. Mostly did not speak English. Was very uncaring. Even though we again asked for room near each other they said that can’t fill that request. One of only two elevators was out of service. Generally speaking place is old looking and needs serious up grades. This kind of hotel should be in crappy part of downtown in some big city, not here near the Grand ole Opry. I regret this place and will never be back. Oh. Breakfast sucked to. DO NOT STAY HERE.

Bugs

Room had stink bugs on carpet and medicine on the floor. Could tell a vacuum hadn't been used between guests. Was given the excuse that "all hotels have them." Hotel did comp one night. Good hot breakfast and good location.
