Comfortable bed and good pillows. Great A/C. The curtains did not keep the light out, but minimal issue.

We booked online for our trip to tombstone, stayed the night when we flew into Phoenix and the night when flying out of Phoenix. We picked the absolutely wrong place to stay and realized it before we even pulled in the parking lot of a super eight in downtown Mesa.! BEWARE?? It was already 130 in the morning when we arrived at the Holiday Inn to find out the room rates. Guy at the desk named Eric was so kind and understanding and made sure we got an overnight there with him safely without gouging us on price. Every hotel lobby should have and Eric as a customer’s first contact to a hotel?? I hope he is valued by his employers as he should be! Since I can’t upload a video and I don’t have a photo of Eric at 1:30 in the morning, I will just add that to social media with it. #

It is apparently totally acceptable for large groups of people to play music at top volume, yell, scream and laugh in the hallway all night long. A call to the front desk yielded nothing. A security guard was supposed to come upstairs to quiet things down after I called the front desk and nothing changed. 1:30 am and not a care in the world about this ridiculous behavior. Don’t stay here. I’ve never experienced a worse night in a hotel in my life.

Stop staying at Holiday Inns. Even if you book a room for more than two people and pay extra for the third person which also includes breakfast, they will refuse to serve breakfast for the additional. You have to extra pay it, even if you show it to them BLACK ON WHITE that you booked THREE PEOPLE INCLUDING BREAKFAST FOR T H R E E P E O P L E!!!! You guys SUCK!!!! Then they are the ONLY chain in the US that will not let you check in earlier than 3PM, they don't even care about who you are, it's a strict NO prior to 3pm. So the entire day is already lost. Also, they will not clean your room even if you request it. NEVER AGAIN HOLIDAY INN, WHAT A PATHETIC HOTEL CHAIN!!!!!
