Wonderful Place

travelfaninpa (Philadelphia, Pennsylvania) on Feb 02, 2023

Everything was absolutely incredible. Spacious rooms, pristine grounds, directly on a major road for easy access anywhere, close proximity to prime restaurants... pools, grills, elevators, new tv's, kitchens, and more.

Clean, comfy, pleasant

We ( 2 teens, myself and my husband) had a connecting 2 bedroom. The larger unit of the two was more spacious and comfortable. The kitchens were well equipped and the beds were comfy and crisp. Everything felt clean and new. Our 2nd floor view was great ( waterfall rock formation by the pool) . The service at the front desk was excellent. They were quick to address any requests, and followed up with a phone call afterwards to make sure things were taken care of ( they were). The pool was lovely, and the activities were cute. The weather cooperated and we were able to get some sun, even in January. The parking was ample although the property was 100% full. Although they serve complimentary coffee in the lobby till 10, we would have loved a coffee shop on the premises. Nonetheless, we were centrally located and took advantage of UberEats and Instacart, which was delivered to our room before check in- a lovely convenience. This was our first time in Arizona and we loved it. We were comfortable and happy at the Sheraton Desert Oasis.

Almost perfect.

Very comfortable and clean. The staff were very friendly. The only issue I can think of was soda machines that were empty or non functional. Only one of the five we tracked down had an out of order sign on it. We arrived late because of flight delays and we just wanted something cold to drink. 20 minutes of walking the property at 11:00 pm, discovering none of the soda machines worked was frustrating. We checked at the desk and they apologized, saying the machines were owned and operated by an independent company. The next morning we tried to make coffee in the room. The coffee provided was really bad, and we ended up (along with two other couples staying there) going out to a coffee shop. Every other aspect of our stay was excellent, so getting another vendor for the soda machines, and getting a different brand of coffee for the coffee maker in the rooms would be a relatively easy fix.

This may be a great timeshare / vacation club, but not a true Sheraton Hotel…

hakrjak2017 on Jan 25, 2023

This may be a great timeshare / vacation club, but if you’re a business traveler like me, it’s probably not your cup of tea. No breakfast before 10am, and then your only option is the pool snack bar / restaurant. No indoor restaurants or hotel bars at all. No Sheraton lounge for Titaniums and Platinums. No elite recognition at check in, and no benefits offered. Far from restaurants and Scottsdale in general, so bring a car or plan to Uber a fair distance to things. Did I mention no restaurants or bars except the pool snack bar?!

Quality resort in Scottsdale.

Great facility with a very fun, helpful staff. They had activities throughout the day at the pool or inside like games, crafts and snacks. Our kids love it here. Easy location just off the 101 so any trip we made to other parts of Phoenix were easy to access. Scottsdale has it all, so most of our stay, we didn't travel very far. Except for the colder weather in Janaury, we and our kids had a great time.
