I have stayed at the Crown Paradise Club half a dozen times in the last 10 years and it has gone downhill in the past year significantly. My first night the door on the patio did not even have a lock and they did nothing. Being only on story up, not a great feeling of safety. This was not the worst of it, i requested a room change, which I got and by end of that day, there was a cockroach in my room about 2" long! very unnerving! the staff did not seem to think this was a big issue, they moved me room but let's be honest if there is one cockroach in an establishment, there are more. The bellman told me they treat for them twice a week, which again tells me it is a pretty big problem... and if they treated twice a week, how would one even grow to be that big, they should be dead! anyway, long story short, i just couldn't see myself having a relaxing vacation in an environment where i would be concerned about more cockroaches, so I returned home. I will never recommend nor go to this establishment again.

To be fair, this was an overnight due to a canceled flight, so I can't provide a wide review. Our room was very shabby, both mirrors had black spots, all furniture was 1980 era wood, very banged up. One bed was squishy, the other was thin and every spring could be felt. The floor was a little dirty, the toilet and shower were clean. Refrigerator didn't work. Halls are extremely dark, with plywood cupboard doors that didn't fully close. We had one meal at the buffet. It was pretty unappealing but edible. The staff we dealt with were great, our buffet waiter was literally the single best server we had compared to the entire week at our original AI.

Awesome experience, Workers were very helpful and this resort is excellent for families or for everyone from couples to friends. Hotel was clean and many activities to stay active almost every hour, food was also great and had a variety of options. I recommend staying at this resort for a weekend getaway or even for a couple weeks of fun and relaxation if that’s what you want! The best entertainment staff is Johnny el mariachi

This was one of the worst travel experiences we’ve ever had. This hotel is a disaster. The room was poorly maintained, there was visible mold on the bathroom and corners of the room, which made the space smell damp and unpleasant. This is a serious health concern, and it’s shocking to see that the hotel hasn’t addressed this issue yet. The food was awful and tasteless. The buffet lacked variety, the menu was the same every day and the dishes that were available were cold and unappetizing . The menu options were limited, same stuff every day, even for the specialties restaurants, for which you need to wake up everyday before 9:00 AM to make a reservation. The customer service at the front desk was extremely disappointing and unprofessional. The staff were unresponsive and unhelpful, and acted like they didn’t care about their guests. When we arrived, the front desk agent barely acknowledged us and seemed annoyed when we asked questions about our reservation . During our stay, the service was painfully slow, our calls to the front desk went mostly unanswered. The security agents on the beach were extremely rude and aggressive. I rarely write reviews, but I feel obligated to warn others: Stay away from this hotel!!!! The photos and good reviews online are completely misleading and this place is rundown, dirty, and in desperate need of renovation. Don’t fall for their false advertising, You’ve been warned!!!!
