Traveling with kids who love water parks and animation, they might enjoy it

HC C (Phoenix, Arizona) on Mar 26, 2026

We stayed 5 days. The only good things were that the kids had a lot of fun at the water park on the ship, the activities for them in the theater, and especially the pool team , Fernanda was very attentive with the kids and super friendly when helping them get on the zipline. The French restaurant San Souci is the only one I recommend. The food was good and the waitresses were very attentive and professional. (With luck, you can get a reservation) Other than that, the facilities are old, there isn’t much variety of food in the other restaurants, there aren’t enough shaded places to sit, there are long lines to order drinks at the bar, the elevators often don’t work, and there was a very long waiting time for check out.

Great time and great job!

Diego T (Los Cabos, Mexico) on Mar 26, 2026

Our stay was excellent. The hotel stands out for its impeccable cleanliness, beautiful facilities, and, above all, its outstanding service quality. I would like to give special recognition to Juan and Hipólito, the captains of the waitstaff, who provided professional service and were always attentive to every detail. Also, to the Activities team, especially Fernanda. For her charisma and great attitude, which made the experience even more enjoyable. Gracias!

Disappointing Stay - Not Worth the "Paradise" Name

Curious43016756695 on Mar 23, 2026

Stayed: March 14–21, 2026 Travelled with: Family (2 adults, 2 young daughters) ? We just returned from a week at Crown Paradise Club Puerto Vallarta, and while we made the best of our family time, we won’t be returning. For a family of four, the experience fell far short of the "all-inclusive" ease we expected. ? The Room: Smaller and Smellier than Advertised ?The photos are very misleading. Our family room was cramped and lacked maintenance. While the bunk beds were a nice addition, the "aesthetic" archway from the promotional videos looked cheap and poorly constructed. Worst of all, there was a persistent smell of urine in one corner of our room. ?The View: Despite the resort appearing half-empty—we only ever saw one other room on our entire "family room" floor being utilized—we were given a room overlooking a dusty dirt and cobblestone road. ?Comfort: The balcony had zero space or furniture to actually sit, and the pillows were incredibly hard and lumpy. ? Dining & Health: A Serious Concern ?The food situation was the biggest letdown and a genuine health hazard. Both my husband and I became quite ill three days into the trip. ?The "Danger Zone": We watched the buffet staff closely; instead of replacing empty trays with fresh ones, they would simply scoop cold, pre-made food into the existing trays already in the warmers. The reheating process was extremely slow, meaning the food was never even warm, let alone hot. It sat in the "danger zone" for hours, which likely led to our stomach issues. ?Access: The QR code reservation system for the a la carte restaurants is a nightmare. We had to dress up and personally ask the staff at the Italian restaurant to let us in because the app said it was full when it clearly wasn't. ?Timing: There are gaps in the day where neither the snack bar nor the buffet is open, which is not ideal when traveling with small children. ?The Only Pro: The Japanese restaurant is by far the only good, safe food on-site. ?Hydration & Coffee Hurdles ?If you love coffee, beware: there is no cafe. We had to be strategic and "sneak" into the buffet during opening hours just to get tiny to-go cups. Water is also a chore. Bottles aren't restocked until late afternoon in the room's mini-fridge, and the refill stations at the beach and lobby bars were often empty by the evening. ? Pools, Waterpark, and Cleanliness ?The pirate ship looks cool, but it isn't nearly as extravagant as the "9 slides" advertised. The water in that area looked quite dirty, and we never once saw it being cleaned. Both main pools were constantly overcrowded with loud music blaring all day, many songs that were played on repeat had inappropriate language i the lyrics. ?General cleanliness was lacking across the board. Usually at resorts, you see staff constantly scrubbing floors or clearing dishes; here, we rarely saw anyone maintaining the common areas or lounge chairs. ? Logistics: Nexus Shuttle ?If you book through WestJet, don't rely on the Nexus reps being at the resort. They claim to be there daily, but we only saw them once in seven days. Better off confirming your pick-up through the Nexus App. ? The Silver Lining: Despite the resort's many flaws, the weather was absolutely beautiful all week. We made the best of our family vacation and had a great time together, but we certainly won't be choosing Crown Paradise again!

Food and employees were great! A few too many salespersons but overall a great experience.
