Disappointed

pcptlpk0xe on Feb 24, 2024

We were disappointed with our visit overall. For the money we paid it was not worth it. We have stayed at Adult side of Crown Paradise many times before and we were very pleased with everything. We will not recommend club side to anyone.

Family trip with young kids

leaj024 on Feb 23, 2024

The beach was great! The kids didn’t love the water park because the majority of the slides go into very shallow water and the bottom of the pool was rough and so they said it hurt. The infinity pool was COLD but they loved the main pool. The found the kids club pretty boring so rarely wanted to go there. Really easy walking access to the marina and Walmart. The kids struggled to find proteins they enjoyed at the buffet but loved the selections of fruit and veggies. All of the a la carte restaurants have spaghetti and chicken nuggets/fries etc for kids. Sans Souci was everyone’s favourite. Really disappointed that you couldn’t find salsa and guacamole anywhere. They loved the ziplines and face painting, ping pong, and large chess. The soundproofing of the rooms is really poor and we often had to call down to the front desk for towels/pillows etc and sometimes they came, sometimes the didn’t, and it always took quite a while. However the housekeeping staff we would find in the hallways were always extremely helpful and kind. Rooms were very old and things like grout need a thorough deep clean (tried not to look around the shower edges too closely. Beds were VERY firm, but pillows were quite nice. I wish the kids room with the bunk beds had a door or curtain or anything. All in all, we had a lot of fun and if you just throw yourself in and embrace it, you’ll have a great time. We knew we weren’t going to a 5 star place with the price we were paying, but the kids spent most of their time on the beach, and playing in the waves looks the same no matter what. Definitely family-friendly. Not a bunch of younger partying crowd. We felt safe and got what we paid for. If your focus is kids, it’s great, if I was going without kids, I’d keep looking.
