Pros Great views. Staff are friendly and helpful. Facilities were plenty. Always activities around the clock with lots for different age groups. Cons black mould all around my bathroom and in between tiles. Internet is intermittent in my room. They have two wines Red and White not what you would expect from a 5 star hotel. Certain areas of the hotel were tired and in need of an update. Breakfast was amazing so much choice and variety. Other restaurants of choice so were so busy we could not get a reservation.

Stayed here for my wedding. The location was great, the best beach!!! Nice for beach walks. Some of our guests went to sayulita and la cruz. There is uber available at low prices. Atmosphere is very family oriented. I woundnt recommend if you are looking for more adults only atmosphere in the day. Lots tailored to children. Nightlife was great though. The disco seemed to be busy every night because of all the weddings. Shout out to Abel our wedding coordinator for being very organized, responsive and dedicated to making our day so special!

It was unfortunate that we were greeted with the news that we did not have access to go in for breakfast and use the facilities until 12:00 noon because we arrived at 09:30. Our first experience visiting this hotel was unpleasant because of this policy, which we hadn't encountered at other hotels. We were unaware of this policy, as it wasn't communicated to us when we made the reservation.

I stayed at Iberostar Punta de Mita 4 times and yesterday I was there for a day trip. The entrance and common areas were so beautiful. The pool area has definitely gone downhill. Lots of cracked and broken concrete and pools were less than desirable. Lots of debris in the pools. Not very clean. And the cocktails were awful. The gin and tonic tasted like chemicals, the margaritas tasted gross and smelled like cleaning material. I know it’s all inclusive but the drinks provided were terrible and it’s no longer worth the money to go there. The staff is always friendly.
