The best part of our experience at this resort was the excellent food served in all three restaurants of this establishment. Our favorite though was the Sunset Restaurant with an exceptional menu that had several delicious options as well as wonderful service from their staff. Our compliments & appreciation to them all...Luis, Adriana, Isidro, Jaime, Fabian & Miguel. Gracias !!

First of all I have life threatening allergies. I was, as always concerned about eating in a foreign country. We went to the Sunset PM for dinner. Captain tonight was Luis. From the time we got to the restaurant it was amazing! We were greeted and seated by Adriana, the hostess, who seated us. She seated us at a beautiful table that we could see PV on both sides of us and the Bay and Ocean in front of us. Breathtaking, to say the least!!! Our waiters were Isadro, Jaime, Ricardo Fabian, and Miguel. And of course Luis was also working with them. I gave Luis, the Captain, a letter with the foods that I am allergic to and he immediately read it and asked if he could borrow it to show the waiters and cook. He showed it to Magui, the Chef, who informed him of what I could and couldn’t have, and the substitutions that they could do. We ordered our meal and Luis came back to assure me that he had double checked with Magui, the Chef, that I should be fine. It is not a common thing for me to feel comfortable at a restaurant, but I did feel confident that they were going to take good care of me. The food came out and was so much more than I had expected. I ordered off the All Inclusive menu but added some Surf and Turf. Way way too much food. I did my “taste test” and had no reactions. All I can say is that every bite was absolutely amazing!!! I cannot give them enough praise!! I will never forget the service and the food. I have already booked to eat there tomorrow, I think we will be eating there for the rest of our vacation. Amazing that I found a place that can handle my allergies, give great, actually amazing service, and the food was out of this world!! I cannot tell you, if you go to the Buenaventura Grand in PV, book yourself at the Sunset as much as you can.

The staff at the sunset restaurant is fabulous. Luis, Adriana and servers Jaime , Fabian , Miguel and especially Isidro. Great and friendly service, Cheers!

Fabulous sunset with amazing friends. Staff and food were great. Luis (capitán) Adriana (hostess) , Isidro, Jaime, Fabian and Miguel gave excellent service. Will be back for sure
