Advance warning: this is going to be a fairly detailed review. For our first family trip to Punta Cana, we chose Majestic Mirage Punta Cana. We had a few minor issues at check-in, but the hotel team was extremely helpful and worked hard to resolve everything quickly. We genuinely appreciated the effort and professionalism shown throughout our stay. We would like to thank the entire management team and all staff members who helped make our stay enjoyable. A special thank you goes to our butler, Eduardo, for always being available and eager to help, and to Erison, for his support throughout our stay. I should also mention Yeimi and Leo from management and Raul from f&b for their excellent support. Majestic Mirage is an all-suite resort with dedicated butler service. We stayed in Family Building 2, and our suite was spacious, comfortable, and very well maintained. Housekeeping did an excellent job keeping the room clean and well stocked every day. The grounds are generally attractive, easy to navigate, and offer plenty of places to relax. Unfortunately, we visited during hurricane season, and the beach was heavily affected by sargassum. This was clearly beyond the resort’s control, and staff were working hard to manage the situation. As a result, we spent more time around the pools, which turned out to be a great alternative. The pool areas are excellent, with plenty of space and enjoyable daily activities. The entertainment team did a great job creating a fun atmosphere without being overbearing. Families should definitely take advantage of the Kids Club. Our daughter loved it, and the staff were friendly, caring, and engaging. The animation team across the resort also deserves recognition for their energy and enthusiasm. One of the resort’s biggest strengths is its staff. Whether at the restaurants, bars, housekeeping, guest services, or entertainment, everyone we encountered was friendly, professional, and genuinely willing to help. We tried most of the restaurants during our stay. Steakhouse: Good food, generous portions, and attentive service. L’Essence: Our favourite restaurant. Excellent food, presentation, and overall dining experience. Italian Restaurant: Perfectly decent, but it didn’t stand out as much as some of the other venues. Kabuki: We enjoyed the hibachi experience. Although it was flameless and less theatrical than some hibachi shows, the chef was entertaining and the food was very good. Patisserie: One of our favourite spots for coffee, pastries, desserts, and quick snacks throughout the day. The bartenders across the resort also deserve special mention. Service was consistently friendly, and the cocktails were excellent. Overall, the drinks were better than what we have experienced at many family-oriented all-inclusive resorts. We also appreciated that food and drinks were available early in the morning before excursions. It may seem like a small detail, but it makes a big difference when leaving before sunrise. The spa was another highlight. It was relaxing, well maintained, reasonably priced, and a great way to unwind during the holiday. We also experienced a private beach dinner, which turned out to be one of the most memorable experiences of our stay. The setting was beautiful, the service was excellent, and it made for a very special evening. Overall, we had a really nice stay at Majestic Mirage Punta Cana. No resort is perfect, and there are a few areas that could benefit from improvement. However, the dedication of the staff and the overall guest experience far outweighed those minor shortcomings. Thank you, Majestic Mirage, for helping us create wonderful family memories during our first visit to Punta Cana. We are already looking forward to trying your Cancun resort in the future.
